Of cocurse the Dims foresee the U.S. reducing troop levels in the next year. That's why they're pathetically trying to get out ahead of it now. But they've been reduced to the role of a chihuaha chasing a truck.

I agree with you. Again.

The Rats are looking to impeach this president and Republicans in Congress had better smarten up and step up to the plate or they will go down with him.

And the war on terror will suffer an enormous setback and our military will be demoralized. Just like Vietnam. I feel like we're in a time warp.

I can`t take anymore. These shows used to be paritally interesting. Sometimes they even had differing opinions offered. Now, it just pile on, pile on some more.

Good point - Tim Russert is Nanci Pelosi without botax.

Also in agreement about term limits. I would even go further and alter senate term from 6 years to 4 years atleast, if not 2 years like the house.

I think you have assessed this perfectly. When he was in Iraq he kept asking about "Gear and Supplies", and is upset because the Soldiers say they are okay with Supplies. This tells us that he is motivated by Greed and patronage. I would love to see his bank account and where his money comes from. I would like to know how much of it is through Patronage and kickbacks.

I heard Rush week before last say something about Soros contributing to a PAC. Can you clarify more on this? Also, there is a way to check contributions to a candidate, yes?

Regarding the latter first? General search engines:

The are pretty bad, aren't they...

Now, Stephy has his roundtable, and of course, Joe Klein is saying the significant vote this week was the one in the Senate, Warner's Amendment, rather than the "bogus" one in the House of Friday...blech.

Yes, also he was all praise for Bush's "mission accomplished" moment until it was politicised by dems & media.

Ding... ding... ding... we have another winner.

JD Hawworth put a wrench in some of that last Friday, and I hope we see more of it. But, as to strategy I'm convinced you are right. In good Kerry fashion, the Democrats are on both sides of the issue.

It looks like the big news here is that Murtha is only on one show. It would have been Wall to Wall Murtha had the Pubs not acted Friday night. That was a big score.

The Marxist anti American protesters were running out of holes to crawl into before the sun came out Saturday morning...

There is a related complication of SMS, too. It is SMSMS (Short Memory/Selective Memory Syndrome). It affects most politicians who make politics their career.

Oh MY GOD! I am laughing so hard about this. Another Freeper short hand is born (Seems Sen Hagel has contracted SMS from being in Washington too long).

It sure does!

Reminds me of something I heard Rep. Jeff Davis say on a talk show last night. He was told by some soldiers in Iraq (don't remember which town) that there was a 'reporter' from CNN there who kept trying to get them to talk about the problems, issues they had, say negative things, etc., etc. When the troops said everything was going great, they had everything they needed, were working w the Iraqis and making progress building things, etc. the 'reporter' left in "disgust" - - they only wanted to report the bad news and wouldn't pass any of the info from these troops along. How sick and disgusting is that! We always knew they were the Conspire-against-bush No-news Netjerks

Julie Gerberding pretty much has smacked him down, whenever he has used "inaccurate" quotes...

She did a great job. Didn't let Timmy get away with anything.

Excellent point, in other words don't pee on the Soldiers leg and tell him it is raining. It is really a shame that this man used to be respected although Abscam was for lots of money being stuffed in crooked pockets, and it kind of proves out point that he is not new to this game.

Yup. I become enraged at liars, and start shouting at the TV, so I've had to restrict my watching.

Great piece on Saddam's wmd's, "money." He had plenty of it.It's naive to think that given years and years even Saddam could come up with unique hiding places for wmd's. Not only that he probably has hidden the weapons in their component parts so that they are even more invisible.and who knows how they might be marked.

Only last week in Iraq we discovered another buried weapons cache reportedly "two soccer fields long" with almost every type of weapon from night goggles to rpg's to ak's imaginable.
But you'll never read that in the msm. I read it here of course on another thread.

I agree too, but one old saying keeps coming to mind.

The wheel is sqeaking, but the hamister is dead.

The MSM and Democrats don't have the unfettered influence and microphone they had with Vietnam.

"Except that ALL politicians, soon after their elections, suffer from a common malady called SMS (Short Memory Syndrome). As soon as they get the Washington, they begin forgetting why their base sent them there."

As someone once said, DC is 10 miles x 10 miles surrounded by reality.
