What is this vote on? I thought it was to pull all troops out. Why are the republicans voting yes?

A question I asked myself every time his name was mentioned by the media today, which was non-stop. Frankly what he has done is to get the GOP to finally come out swinging and for that I humbly thank him.

They are voting on agreeing that the resolution should be voted for,or something odd like that.
Not often the USA public actually gets a chance to hear what our conservative and/or Republican elected officials are saying via the MSM.
POTUS can't even get airtime, unless it is an official required coverage event, such as the State of the Union.

The vote is going on!!! Contrary to earlier predictions, the Democrats are voting and not voting present.
Tomorrow, the list of who supports the troops versus who opposes them will be interesting to see. More, it's going to be funny to see how the Democrats are going to try spinning all this to save their behinds for next year.
This vote is the agree to vote on the Hunter resolution (571) - So we want a yes vote on this one (572) and a no vote on 571.
This is on the rule to debate the bill, not the bill.
The only drawback is that Middle America is watching "Ghost Whisperer." (Actually, I'm taping her, er . . . it to watch it later). This is not getting the coverage that it needs to get, but it will seep out.

I think this vote is on the resolution to allow the main resolution to be voted on.
The current question is whether a resolution can be entered and voted on during the same day. That is the vote now in progress. If yes, then the main resolution can be voted on --- next.
