Time to Testify 202 members of Congress have signed a letter to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, asking to allow members of Able Danger to testify before Congress. House Homeland Security Chair Peter King (R-NY) talks about why his signature's on it.

If you’d like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

Living near the border, I am very concerned about terrorists coming into our country. Some of 9-11 bombers were living in San Diego. The dems put our country at great risk. They will not be satisfied until I am wearing a burka!

I am getting very frustrated that the president and his administration isn't out there just blasting this traitorous behaviour by our congress and these arm-chair generals who think they know what Iraq needs. They don't need to be abandoned right now! The terrorists will completly take over and those people who just earned their democracy will be lost forever!

After going on and on and on during his press conference Fitz now files a motion to keeping all pretrial evidence out of public view.

http://mensnewsdaily.com/blog/kouri/2005/11/is-valerie-plame-cia-leak-case-against.html

Also, news organizations are asking, through their attorneys, that US District Judge Reggie Walton deny a court motion by special prosecutor Fitzgerald for a blanket protective order keeping all pretrial evidence in Libby's case out of public view. One wonders if Mr. Fitzgerald disclosed this evidence to Libby's trial attorneys. Libby's legal counsel is entitled to full disclosure.

Didn't get a chance. I was busy venting. I have been so angry the last few days I'm in danger of blowing a gasket.

Speaking emotionally and not intellectually, I feel the Democrats have put us at great risk internationally with their peace at any price attitude. And I feel the Republicans have put us at great risk domestically with their failure to protect our borders, either for political or perhaps commercial reasons.

Libby's legal counsel is entitled to full disclosure.

Yep. They noted that right now, they are working through security clearance process so they can review some of the evidence. But both sides of the case are entitled to full disclosure of the evidence, and the prosecutor has an ethical duty to provide exculpatory evidence, if he has any.

I would think that the full GJ testimony will eventually be made available to defense counsel, as well as all of the gathered evidence, reports, etc.

the MSM no longer controls all media flow

True, but they still control enough to sway a significant portion of the population.

The morning network programs (Today, Good Morning America, etc.) are still viewed partially by 10's of millions. The evening national news programs are still viewed by 10's of millions, too.

The total cable news viewing usually maxes out around 7 million on big news events.

Many millions ONLY catch bits and pieces of daily news and are not news junkies (like many of us on FR area). The average person watches a bit of the morning programs to catch up over night, and they watch the compacted nightly news to catch up the day's news. They don't spend allot of time digging through raw materials and reading/listening to various analyses and commentaries.

Thus, they hear morning after morning, night after night, that Bush lied. That eventually sinks in. Marxist theorem: Tell the lie long enough and people will believe it.

Where is the counter? Cheney giving a speech that gets scant media attention at some obscure conservative group. Bush giving a speech that gets cursory cable news coverage to military persons at some military bases. What does the general public hear on the nightly news? Bush lied Bush lied Bush lied.
