Please Welcome a Returning Soldier (FReeper Help)
11/17/05 | Kimmers

Last week a 19 yo National Gaurdsman returned back home after serving this great country of ours since last April. I guess his family has its troubles and no one was there at the airport to greet him, that broke my heart. He called my friend and her family from the airport so she was able to talk to him. He is flying in to stay with my friend and her family over Thanksgiving. She is arranging for a number of us to greet him at the airport on Saturday night. I was hoping some of my fellow freepers would send him some welcome home messages that I would give to him......

Dear Soldier,

Welcome home! Thank you so much for your hard work, and for the personal sacrifices you have made, to keep us safe here at home. You will never know how much we appreciate what you have done for us. You are good, you are brave, and you make us proud! We are so happy that you are home now. We love you, and we know that God loves you. May God bless you abundantly in the weeks and months ahead!

Hey Mr. S - can you ping your Indiana Norad group to this? A soldier returning home to Indianapolis will have no one to greet him at the airport. I know FREepers would like the chance to be involved!!

Liberty Rocks, do you know anyone in Indy?

This great U.S. Flag came from the folks at www.3DFlags.com. I chose it to say, "Thank you,Welcome Home, and God's blessings" to our returning soldier who is spending the Thanksgiving holiday with your friend and her family. I love the American flag, and the freedoms it represents. I'm more thankful than I could ever express for the service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform who defend it, and those freedoms, for all of us. That flag says it better than words. May God bless this soldier, and all of our military folks, and may He continue to bless America.

Dear Serviceman,
Your service and bravery are humbling and inspiring. Thank you for putting your life on the line to protect me and all of our fellow Americans. You make us proud, and you keep us free. At this Thanksgiving time, surely God will hear you and your fellow servicemen lifted up time and time again in prayers of praise and gratitude.
