Last week a 19 yo National Gaurdsman returned back home after serving this great country of ours since last April. I guess his family has its troubles and no one was there at the airport to greet him,that broke my heart. He called my friend and her family from the airport so she was able to talk to him. He is flying in to stay with my friend and her family over Thanksgiving. She is arranging for a number of us to greet him at the airport on Saturday night. I was hoping some of my fellow freepers would send him some welcome home messages that I would give to him......
My thanks to everyone in advance.....people like you make this country great!!!!!
Tell him that we are very proud of him and that he has done a great thing in serving our country.
Please tell him that we are so very grateful for his dedication and service to our country. And that we do appreciate all the sacrifices he has made on our behalf.
And God Bless him!

There are all sorts of War Orphans...
God Bless him, and let him know he DOES have a family that love and respect him even if we are not "blood". I think there are a LOT of us in this family!! This is from an old war-horse!
It breaks my heart when I hear stories such as this...it happened to the Vietnam Vets too; only worse. Tell him we love him, honor him and thank him for his service which is a noble and honorable cause...he is a hero to all of us....many, many times over. God Bless!! our Troops for whom we are Thankful!
