To one of my heroes....thank you for giving of yourself for me. There aren't enough words to express my gratitude for all you do and all you give up in the process. I would be there to give you a great big old Texas mom hug if I could. Welcome home.

On a similar subject, my mom traveled yesterday from Kalispell to Missoula, MT on her way to Seattle. The flight into Missoula had a dozen or so soldiers returning from Iraq. When the plane landed, the pilot announced that the servicemen & women were on the flight, and would folks please let them off the plane first. Everyone stayed in their seats & the soldiers got a round of applause. My mom choked up a little when she told me. Real nice story.
