PARIS, France (AP) -- France's worst rioting since the 1960s seems to be nearing an end, the national police chief said Sunday, with fewer cars torched nationwide and Paris calm despite an alert that sent thousands of riot police into the capital's streets.

The French have already lost. The question is what form of NEW violence will be used now that Militant Islamists know that they can act with impunity. Future violence will no doubt go beyond the current arson and peugeot-phobia.

"I know what you mean and how you feel. I agree a lot of the time, but I still do like some French life and culture and I don't think it's a good idea if Europe goes down the tubes. We still have some connections with Euro culture and Western civilization.

The Muslims and Islamofascists depress the hell out of me though."

(1) IF the Frogs want someone to pull their bacon out of the fire again, I want them to look into the mirror and figure it out for themselves, this time. They are solely responsible for their situation and thusly, need to work it out for themselves. I will not back off on my position on this.

(2)The Muslims and Islamo-fascists do not depress me. Rather, they pi$$ me off. They are animals that are out of control. They are sub-human and should be dealt with accordingly. In my mind they are the ENEMY of freedom loving people everywhere and should be shot on sight. Kill the fu*kers and be done with them.

The sad thing is that behind closed doors the French have already wised up to the disaster in their midst...The problem is they lack either the ability or the testosterone to do anything about it.

They invited these Islamalunies into their country and now they can't get rid of them without risking their ultra liberal/socialists/communist reputation.

The French are so so screwed...and we will be joining them soon enough if we don't get a handle on our own borders.

Bush May Send Up To 5 Marines For French Assistance 11/14/2005

President Bush has authorized the Joint Chiefs to begin drawing up a battle plan to pull France's a$$ out of the fire again.

Facing an apparent overwhelming force of up to 400 pissed off teenagers, Mr. Bush doubts France’s ability to hold off the little pissants. "Hell, if the last two world wars are any indication, I would expect France to surrender any day now", said Bush.

Joint Chiefs head, Gen. Peter Pace, warned the President that it might be necessary to send up to 5 marines to get things under control. The general admitted that 5 Marines may be overkill but he wanted to get this thing under control within 24 hours of arriving on scene.

S Spooner MSI: He stated he was having a hard time finding even one Marine to help those ungrateful ba$tard$ out for a third time but thought that he could persuade a few Marines to do the job before they went on pregnancy leave.

President Bush asked Gen. Pace to get our Marines out of there as soon as possible after order was restored. He also reminded Gen. Pace to make sure the Marines did not take soap, razors, or deodorant with them. The less they stand out the better...

CNN probably doesn't know the difference between the French words for "steam" and "fuel".

My theory is that arsonists in France are subject to union work rules, and that most of them have exceeded their alloted hours for the week.

Either that, or they are just getting bored.

I was just thinking that now is the time for them to really watch out. The muslims will relax enough to get them to let down their guard and look out...

The following pictures and snippets were gleaned just from my own FR posts last week, out of dozens and dozens of additional reports I could have chosen from various press websites...

The one below is inside a Kindergarten...

The one below is one from inside a police station after arson in Evreux...

And this last one is a school at Bruay sur Escaut, near Valenciennes...

Some other press reports...

Saint-Etienne: Arsonists destroy two schools and a bus on 6-7 November

Aulnay-sous-Bois: Shops set ablaze

Bordeaux: Employment agency office hit by a petrol bomb on 7-8 November

This night the Protestant church of Meulan (78) underwent a terrorist attack. The roof is completely devastated. I do not know if the interior is completely destroyed or not.

A gymnasium was set on fire in the Paris suburb of Noisy Le Grand, early November 6, 2005

Firefighters extinguished a fire at a kindergarden Sunday night in Lille. Youths fired at police and hurled flaming Molotov cocktails at churches, schools, cars and a daycare center in an 11th night of mayhem in France

A school was torched in Savigny-sur-Orge.

The Public Treasury in Trappes was targeted by an arson.

A police station was smashed by a vehicle in a suburb of Rouen.

A pre-school was torched in Saint-Etienne

In Grasse, the offices of the Nice-Matin newspaper suffered important damage after being targeted by arsonists.

In Arras, 2 large stores were looted and burned (But and St Maclou). Over 10,000 square meters were lost to the flames.

An English friend who is planning to retire to France told me that in those parts of France where there has been no rioting, many Frenchmen have guns and are quite prepared to use them to defend their own property. He claims that when there was a "refugee camp" in Northern France, the locals used to take potshots at wandering "refugees". So maybe it's not hopeless, after all.

And garyhope--I agree with you. The lost of France --with all her faults--would be disastrous. Losing Chirac and de Villepin, on the other hand, could be the silver lining in this cloud.

Unfortunately I agree with you.

It's like common sense has been totally abandoned or forgotten in my lifetime.

It seems like Western civilization has a suicide wish.

Thanks.

Chirac and De Villepin I do not get. What in the world are they thinking and believing? Will they ever realize that the Muslims will cut their throats? What in the world do they think is going to happen to France with the Muslims breeding like rabbits? Don't they care about France and Western civilization?

I'm not depressed, I'm MAD as all get-out! Mainly because when anyone fails to deal with dangerous and psychotic people rampaging through the streets, it endangers your neighbors and keeps spreading. Take a stand frogs!! I've never seen such cowardice.

Chirac is amazingly corrupt (the French call him "Supervoleur"--Superthief; and both he and de Villepin are completely obsessed with themselves, and France's former status as a world power. (DeVillepin, who is fixated on Napoleon, has said that Waterloo was in some sense a French victory, because it displayed "la gloire de la France." Makes no sense to me.)

Chirac has long had a stated vision of Europe as a "counter-weight" to the United States, with France leading Europe. He also believes that France, with its long colonial involvement in N. Africa, should be the bridge between Europe and the Islamic world. He has always followed an Arab friendly policy, and is, or at least was, close friends with Saddam Hussein. (He even learned Arabic so they could communicate without an interpreter).

Last week, I posted a e-mail that had appeared on The Corner at National Review. It was written by a French businessman who lives in Tunisia, and has for many years.
He said that Chirac's opposition to the Iraqi war was a fatal mistake. Instead of improving France's position in the Arab world, the Arabs took this as a sign of French weakness. He said it was astonishing how quickly the Tunisians began to show scorn for France after that.
