How long can any civilization endure when its elites no longer believe in it? How long can we succeed when the elites not only refuse to replenish the moral capital of their civilization, but do all they can to devalue what remains?

Here's where he especially confused me. Is he talking about the Jewish ghettos throughout European and Russian history??? Yah, like they rioted all over the place. -Not. ;)
