Just do it and QUIT talking about it. It is getting a bit redundant to keep saying your going to do this or your going to do that. Every day the US is in danger of terrorists because I feel if these people are getting in so easily, then why can't terrorists? If all they are ever going to do is talk about it, then someone should tell us American citizens to prepare for another attack on the US. I thought 9/11 had taught the Government about protecting our borders.....
How about a skeet shoot too?
"And what makes you think that the democrats and the open borders Republicans will ever allow this to pass?"
Rolling over and playing dead before the battle is joined pretty much makes defeat certain.
This bill is worth fighting for.
Pull!
You can't shoot skeet with a Illegal Alien Repatriation Machine . . can you?
Wouldn't it be nice, if just once, our elected officials would do the right thing.
"It would cost practically nothing when put up against a budget of $2,000,000,000,000+."
More like: 2,600,000,000,000+. 2 trillion, 600 billion dollars. Spend, spend, spend.
PUUUULL
I agree with you that it's worth fighting for. It's just that I don't have much faith, at this point, in our leadership in Washington. Whatever their reasons are for making the decisions that they do, it doesn't seem that the will or the people or doing something because it is the right thing to do ever crosses their minds.
"Make it so."
Speaking of long fences...
India and 1500 mile fence against terrorists

Spot on with the lack of trust.
But if the public is outraged enough, believe me, they have to listen.
This issue wasn't even a blip on their radar screen before the Minutemen.
Then it's up to us to let our elected reps know they won't be elected until they secure the border and that WE are their "political clout".
I bet the private citizens would even pay for it. Can you see it now? "Adopt a wall" program where you can "adopt" your own section of a border wall. You can even visit it to keep it clean and polish it. Take pictures with your family near it. This here section of the border wall is provided by dicemanqc.
The TRUE Enforcement Act is truly comprehensive! It has EVERYTHING that I would want to solve this problem. And by "comprehensive" I don't mean a guest worker shamnesty like they are pushing in the Senate and at the WhiteHouse.

That is an excellent read.
On the face of it, this looks good.
