Dean is such a wuss. I mean even Terry McSlimeball had enough guts to debate the RNC chairman on many occasions. Howard Dean clearly lacks the guts to do it. Dean strikes me as the type of person who can never look anyone in the eyes when they talk to them. Gutless to the core!

Of course Dean refused, he is certainly not use to going on the Sunday show and being challenged at all.

Dean is a real profile in courage.
To: Sybeck1
What a weasel. I guess he is too scared to appear in a debate against a smarter man. Or could it be that he is such a toad that he would blurt out some unsubstantiated rumor while getting his butt kicked on live TV?

Mehlman can whip his butt intellectually in a debate, in a straight talking way, and appear likeable while doing it. Deaniac knows it.
No contest who wins between the Wit (Mehlman) and Nitwit Dean).

Aw, Howie's probably afraid he'll make him scream and cry and the MSM will play it a thousand times.

Hope Mailman asks Russert, "What did you know and When did You know it?" For TR to ask any questions about Libby is rediculous!

I'm stunned that Potato Head even extended an invite to Ken Mehlman - I figured he and the rest of the Sunday shows would have on nothing but Dims to bash the President non-stop over his speech Friday. I guess Dean thought so as well.
Maybe Russert figured that he and Dean could tag-team Mehlman, and that's why they invited him. I wonder if Russert tries to weasel out of bringing on Mehlman now - he knows that one on one, Mehlman can kick his ass around the block for drill.

Waaaaaaa......What a baby.
its probably more arrogant, childish and sinister than that, I betcha Deans reasoning for a no show will be that he dosn't want to appear on the same program as an Evil Brain-dead Republican Nazi, he will say he is better than that, and it would tarnish his image to be seen with such a low-life.
haha or you guys could be right, and Dean is just a chicken.
