FNC Paige Hopkins Interview

Posted on 11/12/2005 11:35:38 AM PST by FarmerW

Any one just see the Paige Hopkins interview about the President's recent speech? Who was that man speaking for the Republicans? I heard him saying that presidents make the error of "not admitting mistakes".

Did I just miss hear all that?

Well, I'll be generous here. Yes, President Bush has made a mistake. His mistake is in not "Grabbing the Rats by their noses and kicking them in their raggedy butts."

What mistakes? And how many Presidents in the last fifty years have admitted mistakes in public?

The man allegedly speaking for the Republicans whose name I have already forgotten was a lawyer for the Bush side during the 2000 vote controversy. I said to my cat, who is here with me "Was that the best we could do for our side?" I hope he never gets sent out as a spokesman again.

I didn't watch it .. as soon as she said she was going to do a segment on what people were commenting about the President's speech, I changed channels. I'd rather watch gardening than listen to the liars lie.

The mornings with Tony Snow are okay - but as soon as he goes off at 11a the rest of the day is a total loser .. it's way too left for me.

Besides, I had listened to Rush on Friday and I already knew the kinds of things they were going to say. I don't need to listen to the left's whining.

The President gives ONE SPEECH - and the media gives the other side MULTIPLE SPEECHES to try to counter it - and they call that "balanced" ..?? Not in my book.

Thats the way I feel about Fox news now. I'm damn sick and tired of having two guest, one a RAT and another poor excuse for a Conservative, and the RAT takes 2/3 of the time mouthing off, and the poor Conservative gets to he/haw for 10 seconds and says nothing.

I think it was Barry Richard. It was a pathetic interview. Why can't Fox find some decent Repubs do go against the likes of Bob Beckel et al?

Getting sick of Fox

If it was Barry Richard, I would like to point out that he is a DEMOCRAT. He was a fine attorney, but he is a DEMOCRAT, as was widely commented upon at the time of the Florida Recount.

Bah!

Fox Wekend is pretty bad all around. The only decent day show is the 10-12 time slot and the evening Beltway Boys. Otherwise, its all libs all the time. Page Hopkins is particularly pathetic.

Beltway boys should be worth a watch tonight. Interested to see what Barnes has to say and Kondracke should be an indication of the Dim Talking points of the moment

You have said what I think every time I hear these "discussions".

I noticed, and thought they were both libs. Chris always has all libs in his "round table discussions".

Hannity and Combs last night was terrible. Hannity couldn't get a word in.

At times Fox is just as bad as the "net works".

That I can understand.

I used to own a cat. Or she owned me. Half my grocery shopping was kitty supplies. She got fed on cue. Got let outside on cue. Got let back in on cue. She had me trained.

lol

and, at the time of the 2000 arguments in the FLASC, it was noted that Richards himself is a Dem. Not that he wasn't a good lawyer for the Bush team, just a thought.

Well, either they are trying to pull a fast one on their viewers, or they are too stupid to know his affiliation. Either expanation works for me.
