The latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows that Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum is continuing to lose ground in his battle for re-election. Santorum trails Democrat Bob Casey, Jr by twenty percentage points, 54% to 34%.
Eh, look at the bright side, no more hurricanes to worry about for 8 months!
"Of course, you--like most democrats--think taking the body of a still-born infant is strange."
Don't most Republicans think so too?
I'm amazed that no-one is commenting on the fact that Bob Casey is pro-life.
What do the Republicans ever have going for them? Just three things (1) that the Democrats are in power and screwing up (not applicable here), (2) that they are pro-life, and (3) that they are more willing to kill people and break things. With the country against the Iraq war now, Santorum is going to lose. The ordinary person doesn't understand economics and discounts what should be a Republican advantage here as just a bunch of mumbo-jumbo.
Uh the poll doesn't matter, it is one year out.
I can do my own poll, 65% of those polled think that "Mrs. asp1" is going to get run over by a car. Are you going to beleive that poll?
People who consider their "fetuses" to be children do indeed mourn. They don't throw them into a dumpster.

I agree this falls at the feet of GW Bush He has been a huge let down ~ My husband and I call him the invisible president. The only solace I have is knowing Kerry isn't in the White House. Apparently, the DC GOP buy into the crap from the media that the base voters in the Republican party are McCain "moderates" which is not the case at all. The Republicans are in trouble, it scares the hell out of me! Yet, what have we seen for the last 5 years except our leaders acting as if they are the ones who lost. Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingram & Sean Hannity can't do it all.
Looks like I'm going to have to keep supporting Santorum. Thanks for the link to that article. I wish we has another 20 Rick Santorums.
And will vote for pro-abortion judges. Not very pro-life, IMO.
I read it, and there was nothing weird in it. Why do you say it was weird? Why don't you post the part that you think is weird?
How realistic is it was it for the junior senator not to know howe many people he alienated by NOT supporting Toomey? IAC, he needs to go full bore to win them back. His argument must be that Casey WILL vote down the line with a very liberal party, or be treated like a pariah as his father was.
Actually, many on this site in the past were supporting sitting out to protest the support he gave to Specter.
>>>And I am certain you are a moby/democrat seminar poster. <<<
And I am certain you are a babbling idiot, Sonny.

Maybe you could move to PA and vote for him.
I hope we conservatives have more than one issue?
Don't they have to hold primaries first? Or is Santorum "the" candidate for the republicans?
