I agree. Sarkozy represents a law and order, hard line middle ground that is not appeasement minded like Chirac/Villepin and not racist like Le Pen.

As to his not being French, au contraire. He represents the possibility of immigrant assimilation into French culture and society. His existence and success show up the Muslim failures to integrate.

Sarkozy loves US culture and politics which gave such opportunity to Governor Schwarzenegger, a first generation immigrant.

The two higher French danger levels are Surrender and Collaborate. The rise was precipitated by a fire yesterday, which destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing their military according to informed sources.
