In Cal they are calliing it an utter disaster for Schwarzenegger! A career killer and it's being dubbed the "government employees victory".
Seems New Jersey- Virgina, (a state that voted for Bush) and other areas the Democrats have stomped the Republicans. Just heard they are calling this a coast to coast KO.
Many are saying they could have predicted this. I tend to agree.
Is anyone really surprised?

Democrats winning in Democrat states. Big deal.

Well, in California the largest employeer is the state. The king owns the largest number of folks and they are drones that follow the king.

No matter how it is portrayed, the results last night were basically a draw. Both parties held the same seats they held before, and the initiative losses in CA are offset by those in OH. Hard to see any nationwide trend developing here.

If you want to get technical, here in VA, Republicans picked up the Lt. Gov seat.

Kilgore's campaign in VA was an embarrassment. I voted for him, but I'm starting to feel like the party is taking its constituents for granted here.
Word to the wise.

lets hope the GOP learns a lesson. Judging from a lot of remarks I've seen lately, the "solution" is to go Liberal RINO the whole way.
...And if you don't agree, well then you're just a filthy ol' Hillary supporter, you evil conservative puppy-beater!

The Dems actually lost a position in VA in the Gov/LT/AG race. There were two Dems and Rep. Now there is one Dem and two Rep.

Unfortunately some people like the view and do not notice.

FReeper Black Tooth is not a troll.
But there's really nothing to celebrate. These contests absolutely have no bearing on 2006 whatsoever. Let the liberals hand-job each other over this.
To: Black Tooth
If the Republicans would start acting and voting like the conservatives they claim to be they would win. Acting like democrat liberals doesn't turn out your base. It turns them away........
