I feel like you do. I really need to hear from Arnold and the other optimists on our side. This is just a start.
Thank you for the work that you do. I would like to get involved in that one day.

I'll grant you his Sierra Nevada Wilderness thing gave me pause. I think he felt he had to do the green-thing in California to survive (though I could be wrong on his motives)... we could solve a whole lot of issues with the greenies by passing HR25 and getting rid of the 501c3's which would cit off the funding for Sierra Club, etc...

75 now losing. Some more from Alameda came in.

LOL, yes that's lost!
Well, good luck to you. The central valley is nice in places. I'm not familiar with the town you mentioned though.

Again, undue sensitivity on your part. Call me whatever you like, but a nice collection of losses on the California ballots don't lie.

ALL PROPOSITIONS ARE CURRENTLY LOSING. FIRST TIME THIS EVENING.
Face it everyone - the trend has been down. The Titantic is half way out of the water (the optimistic view of the world), but it's still going down.

Remember a fellow named Reagan? Won a lot of elections I think. What was it he said about Republicans knocking fellow Republicans? Sounded pretty good at the time and, to me, sounds pretty good now.

Denial isn't a river in Egypt. While not a disastrous night for the GOP, it was clearly a bad one, wrapping up with a strong set of failures in California.
I don't have to be related to Harry Reid to see that clearly.

That's going to be big! Where are they going? SouthEast?

With all the propositions going down to defeat in the People's Republic of California, the following quotations from famous people are offered for your enlightenment and entertainment.
In a democracy the people get what the majority deserves.
Democracy is the recurrent suspicion that more than half of the people are right more than half the time.
The greatest fallacy of democracy is that everyone's opinion is worth the same.
Democracy is a pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of individual ignorance.
The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter.

Gov's political strategist, Mike Murphy, just said he thinks 75 will still pass.
His rationale is that L.A. figures will take 75 underwater, but OC, Riverside, San Diego will even that out. He says there are 200k absentees that came in today that won't be counted until later, so he says "we probably won't know for 24 hours."
To: Uncle Kermie
75 is trailing by less than two hundred votes, it would seem.
