The 53% figure is the statewide figure. LA County is reporting 2.7%. The LA Slimes has it wrong.
I have to retire here pretty soon, but I think LA County will tank the union dues initiative, and we just don't know how the the westside versus the eastside will play out on 73 in LA county. If the westside turned out, and the eastside did not, which would be the normal pattern in an election such as this, then its curtains, but the absentees split in LA County, and Hispanics don't do absentees.
NISSAN is leaving Carson too!
That 53% figure is statewide. LA County itself is still at 2.7%. LA will decide 75.
73 as well with the Latino vote?
One thing is certain: The unions have about 300 million less dollars today than they did six months ago!
So sentsitive! It's absurd to suggest that I should have no opinion because I am not a Californian. This must be a bad night, so I'll just figure you folks are all jacked up tonight and not being reasonable.
I'll take the high road and forgive you.
I caught something about that on FOX today, too.. I ws walking through the room and heard something to that effect... the inaccuracies about prop 73 were amazing.
Sometimes I can't figure out what people on here want from him
True. Considering this is a blue state except San Diego
County is a red county he is doing the best under the
circumstances and with a lib legislature and lib media
In the nation's Gay Capital (San Fran): A hand gun and ammunition ban passed. Military recruiters have been banned from schools.
Just west of Sacramento County.
I think they're all dead. All of them.
It's an election of the status quo all across the country.
Just proves that voters in this state are basically conservative at heart; they don't want to change anything! ;-)

I saw on Fox News Channel yesterday that there is an exodus out of California by the middle class to the midwest. I think that California will be ruled by the illegals within 10 years if not sooner.
Failure is an orphan, I suppose.
Repubs are AFRAID of their own shadows. They have the best moral, logical, economic, etc. positions, yet they fear defending them because the other guys might call them names.
How many people have heard of Samuel Armas? Telling his story would be another example of how to impress people with the truth that the unborn are just as human as we are. Samuel was operated on at 21-weeks gestation in utero for a spinal cord defect. Pictures of his hand grasping the surgeons (above) are among the most powerful and unforgettable in recent years.
Well, we've had a pretty tough ride for the last six years. Davis was bad. Schwarzenegger hasn't been stellar. He's done some good things and a number of terrible things.
I voted for the guy. It was basicly desparation time.
The RP in the state is just pathetic.
Yes we could pull this state back from the brink, but it's going to take some work. I haven't given up or I wouldn't be here. In fact, I'd encourage conservatives to move here.
California is a very important state. We need reinforcements. Glad you came back.
11:05 pm here in FRisco...chips and salsa on the kitchen table...Sierra Nevada Pale Ale...Grateful Dead playing in the background...FR on the computer...just getting started with this.
