Traditionally absentees have been weighted conservative, but they seem to be drifting back toward the center the last few elections.

Just over the hills, Temecula. But my dad has a ranch near Winkleman, and I've been real interested in Tucson.

Ominously, 0% of the returns are in from LA county, as of this post

The Democrats are busy fixing LA and Alameda counties. San Diego is starting to come in.

San Francisco is also voting to kick military recruiters off campuses.

They need to secede right now from the union.

Who do they think defends them? George Soros?

Orange County voter turnout: 15.3% -- 228,503 votes cast
San Diego Co. voter turnout: 15.7% -- 217,812 votes cast Orange and San Diego mostly uncounted so far.

SD and Orange shoud have a 35% turnout. I voted about 7pm (SD) and there was a steady flow of voters. And OC and SD will take the numbers to the right.

Here is one result on parental notification from an almost all Anglo County, Inyo, that is very conservative, but maybe a bit libertarian, that my brother lives in (he is the token leftist), with 20% of the today vote in, and presumably all of the absentee:

Minor's Pregnancy 1,458 51.4 1,381 48.6

I can't believe that that many people are so sick as to allow a 12 year old to have an abortion without parental consent.

Uhhh... Arnold's approval rating is hardly "high." Unless you consider 35% "high."

Why is our state so stupid? Why why why why why.... I think prop Y is on the ballot every time we vote and the dopes vote in favor of it "for the kids" every single time, without asking themselves where all the money went the past thousand bonds we passed to "fix the schools."

I think SF should be denied National Guard troops after their next earthquake..... if they ban military recruiters.

I can't help but laugh at this point. After 120 million plus in union spending, the one measure that seem to be holding on, is... yep, you guessed it, union dues.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if the unions lost the ability to pay for all the loans they must have taken out for this election cycle?

I live in Yuba City... Sacramento always struck me as a funny town politically. It's filled with lots of libs, but the conservatives out there do tend to make a lot of noise. At least that's the impression I get, 40 miles up the road.

Any idea how Measure G is doing in Yuba County?
