At DU, someone posted that Daily Kos was reporting "irregularities" in VA voting. That can, of course, mean only one thing - Kaine is going down, and Rats need an excuse! Go Kilgore!
Same here in VA Beach, however, if you didn't have id they let you sign an affidavit...as if anyone voting under false pretenses would have any compunctions against signing a false affidavit.
Having grown up near Chicago, I love hearing Democrats worried about vote fraud. It seems so funny. I don't believe any of the dead in Chicago have ever been denied their voter rights.
I been voting for 15 years in Virgina Fairfax count. Always been asked for ID. It's the LAW.
Geez, there were only 3 people up there at my precinct. Of course, that may change later.
It's about bloody time they started following THE LAW.
Not so fast, sadly it's still quite possible. Even if you don't have an ID they have a form you can sign swearing that you are who you say you are and that you live at whatever address you give them. A quick look in the obituaries cross referenced with the white pages and you've got yourself a dead voter. The kicker is If i show up at the polls saying that my name is "Semore Butts" and sign a form saying that, how are they going to find me?
irregularities means one democRat, one vote.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA - Election Day is a miserable day for RATS.
Already voted. I think Kaine will take it. Several people complained they were confused by the computer voting booths and accidenatlly voted for Buchanan.
The machines worked fine.
Its baffling to me that ID's aren't required everywhere.
Here in BLUE Connecticut your ID is checked and you are cross referenced against the voting list.
If they are already complaining, they've probably lost.
I bet the confused voters are liberal plants.
though i loathe to ask are there any exit polls out yet (yes yes i know inaccurate etc)
Another explanation is that Democrats are innately paranoid.
"Vote here in CA for the props, very low turn out which I think is not great because I live here in Kern country."
Don't despair yet. I heard on the radio the other day that the Secy of State's office said they had a HUGE increase in absentee ballots for this election. Tom Sullivan opined that absentee voters are often conservative voters (older, military, WORKING LONG HOURS, etc.) So there may still be hope.
I just voted 1200 times on DIEBOLD.
Boy, I feel good.
Anybody need to borrow my super secret Rove code that was given to me by the SwiftBoat vets?
Is Howard Dean still paying DailyKos for positive press?
No matter what, if Kilgore wins, the race was stolen.
(Liberal "logic")
