BALTIMORE -- For the first time, the operators of a California-based Web site are revealing they have evidence that an e-mail address from the Maryland Democratic State Party is associated with MD4BUSH.
WBAL-TV 11 News I-Team reporter David Collins said the operators of FreeRepublic.com are not revealing the name behind MD4BUSH. But this is the first time that they are suggesting the state democratic party is associated with the MD4BUSH account on their Web site.
Jim Robinson, the president of the conservative Web site, issued the following statement: "Free Republic has evidence that an mddems.org (Maryland Democratic Party) e-mail address is associated with the MD4BUSH account. This is not just coincidence."
They also call on the account holder to come clean.
Free Republic has the electronic trail associated with the saga of MD4BUSH.

Last week, the name of Ryan O'Doherty, a former official with the state Democratic Party who left that job in January, surfaced publicly in connection with the MD4BUSH mystery. That happened when the governor's lawyer forwarded an e-mail with O'Doherty's name on it to the committee investigating the governor's firing practices.

The I-Team caught up with O'Doherty outside the Baltimore Metropolitan Council, where's he's held a newly created job for the past nine months. The agency is publicly funded, with close ties to the mayor and county executives.
O'Doherty is a friend of Steve Kearney, one of the mayor's top aides. Sources said Kearney first tried to get O'Doherty hired in City Hall. Kearney told 11News he couldn't remember if he provided any help.
Collins reported in response to Free Republic's disclosure, Josh White, the executive director of the state Democratic Party, said how could anyone take the word of a right-wing Website that wants nothing more than to help the governor.

I'm sorry dark, I was being careless in my reaction because that "right wing" junk annoyed me. You are right to bring me up short.
Republican?!? Sez who?
It's ok, if anyone should apologize it's the so called Republicans we elect.
bump
Scratch my question...I see that you already addressed it.
Thank you also!
What was that other catch phrase used when people testified during Watergate?
Great! That is not exactly a large staff, 3 people under the Exec. Director, so there's no doubt that Ryan O'Doherty worked closely with the Exec. Director of MD's Demagogic Party. If he is "MD4Bush" or involved with the person who pulled the scam, that implicates the core of the MD Demagogic Party quite directly. Does someone have that page image stored in Freeper archives? It should be preserved for posterity....
You forgot to mention their lectures to us about being honest and having morals
If you can't say anything nice about someone...tell me more.
I'm a little surprised by this relvelation. I would have guessed that it came from the Washington Post, particularly since they have admitted to using that login id.
I am soooo out of the loop....
Who stole Steels's social security card? And was this covered in the MSM in Maryland or buried?
I knew Steele was having oreo cookies thrown at him- but what's up with the credit report thing...?
sorry I am so lame...
yep, what the Post knew is important.
The rest is just dirty politics and as far as I am concerned part of the game. But the Post which somehow knew everything in real time, well, that is an issue.
You're easily amused :)
You'd think such exposures would get old eventually. I suppose they "might" if more of them were followed through to their criminal prosecution.
It means that the WaPo has to admit being in league with the MD Dem Party, or at the very least, failing to use proper journalistic procedures and ethics.
I wonder...if I anonymously went to them claiming that Swillary Clinton sent me child pron, and offered to send them my account information and password "through an intermediary," would they unquestioningly print it without having to reveal who I am or prove anything about the account?
Jim, give us a new clue everyday. This is getting fun.
Heh, Go get em, Jim!
