I hope these "youths" take the car burnings right into the heart of Paris. Maybe a little bonfire in the underground garage in front of the Ritz Hotel will end Chirac talking about a "spirit of dialogue and respect." The Chirac residence is a very short walk from the Ritz.

It's tooo much reading the cold hard facts and the irreproachable logic here. It is almost tedious for those of us who have never permitted ourselves ANY illusions about what the Muslims are up to here. have one qualm. it was not the french who stopped islam

in 732. it was the franks, who were really germanic.

i challenge anyone on this site to name me the last

important battle won by french troops with a french

officer leading them. just one please. btw, napoleon

was not french, he was born on the island of corsica, which

at the time of his birth was italian property, so he was

really italian. france has always been weak, why else

would islam target it as the place to base an invasion of

europe?
