IMO, the big problem for the MSM here is their fear that if they mention or emphasize the Muslim nature of the insurrection, people will see Bush and his Iraq war in a more favorable light.

That being said, I think that the riots may not be part of a monolithic Muslim attempt to destroy France or Western Civilization. But radical Muslim leaders will, if they can, take this opportunity to make that scenario the reality. France needs to get control, and quickly. For all of our sakes.
