I'd like to know how the 9th Circuit got around the Federal Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA):

The Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA) (20 U.S.C. § 1232h; 34 CFR Part 98) applies to programs that receive funding from the U.S. Department of Education (ED). PPRA is intended to protect the rights of parents and students in two ways:

* It seeks to ensure that schools and contractors make instructional materials available for inspection by parents if those materials will be used in connection with an ED-funded survey, analysis, or evaluation in which their children participate; and

* It seeks to ensure that schools and contractors obtain written parental consent before minor students are required to participate in any ED-funded survey, analysis, or evaluation that reveals information concerning:

1. Political affiliations;
2. Mental and psychological problems potentially embarrassing to the student and his/her family;
3. Sex behavior and attitudes;
4. Illegal, anti-social, self-incriminating and demeaning behavior;
5. Critical appraisals of other individuals with whom respondents have close family relationships;
6. Legally recognized privileged or analogous relationships, such as those of lawyers, physicians, and ministers; or
7. Income (other than that required by law to determine eligibility for participation in a program or for receiving financial assistance under such program).

Parents or students who believe their rights under PPRA may have been violated may file a complaint with ED by writing the Family Policy Compliance Office. Complaints must contain specific allegations of fact giving reasonable cause to believe that a violation of PPRA occurred.

She said that the website The American Thinker is doing some good digging on this.

He is flaunting money and the material things he has like there is no tomorrow ..

Where did he get all that money?

They ignored it, I suppose, just like they ignore the US Constitution.

They're insane. I certainly hope that SCOTUS decides to reinstate the Federal protections slaps down the 9th Circus' latest "opinions."

So you are telling me that the original Questionnaire wasn't objectionable to the parents,because the questions were withheld and thus the parents didn't opt out,that is dishonest and wrong.

I would have opted out anyway,because I don't trust the curriculum in health class at the elementary level.

In Middle school you expect sex ed in health class,because the kids are going into puberty and their bodies are changing.

I might be mistaken, but I thought I heard on the TV that a gallon of Starbucks coffee is about $ 33.00.

Here's a Psalm of David for anyone to pray, to pray when your enemies are attacking you.

Psalm 3 (King James Version)

Psalm 3

1 .Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.

2. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God.
Selah.

3. But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

4. I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill.
Selah.

5. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. 6I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

7. Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

8. Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

That's what I read yesterday. It is just horrible that schools, supported by this court decision, are trying to take over our children....much like Hillary's It Takes a Village mentality. They must be stopped RIGHT NOW.
