...otherwise, known as "Hell"!
i'm having a hard time comprehending what i see in the news with my own eyes...
even if this dies down for a period of time there is no way for it to just go away.
what must americans back in the 1930's must have thought when reading the news from abroad.
i long for reporters to be just that. tell us the truth and let us deal with it.
Yeah. Isn't it usually angry young muslims who take up the jihad? I heard that they found a bomb making factory near Paris. This sounds like more than a food riot to me.
Looks like they took the cartoons off the server. Click on the link within the story (not the one you posted) and you get a server error:

However, Muslims are hard at work converting Mexicans and Latin Americans, so don't be too sure.
Not to mention that several US states were formed from what used to be Mexican territory. Let's hope they don't acquire revanchist tendencies.
Thanks. I should have mentioned, I do see that one. But the link provacatively mentions 12 and I don't see the other 11.
As for this one. What do you think of it? Do you think it's funny? Clever?
The guy walking up to the outhouse and then SLAM ing the door (with a big I between the cartoon frames) and then the bubble-thought: It Stinks In Here... is way better.
That's why I wanted to see the other 11.
Just like 9/11, the beheaders jumped the gun. Europe is still strong enough to cast them out. Another 20 years and they would have succeeded. The skinheads and the hooligans will meet them in the street where the civil authorities won't. That will be the impetus to a tidal change in Europe.
Now that one's funny.
I certainly hope so. If we can unite the French right wing with the well-hidden remnants of the German right wing, we may be able to turn those countries around.
Much as I hate to see it come to this, the only answer to "Jihad" may be "Crusade."
Perhaps all the old line and neo-nazis can change their banners to read "Afrikaner heraus! Moslems heraus!"
One of Mark Steyn's best lines ever was about this tragic murder. He wrote, "It was the first time a fruitarian murdered a fruit Aryan."
Your statement needs no reply however
#1 I dont see La Raza fighting to stop bilingual education
#2 The group from Mexico (the gang that the news has covered) living in LA working with terror groups
#3 The point was illegal not legal and for you to assume I was talking about immigrants in a bad way is nuts because I am a first generation American
#4 And I happen to be Catholic so your last statement what can I say
#5 I have family members married to men from Mexico with Spanish surnames who have grown up here and have kids in the school and they are not forced into a bilingual class.
#6 I would really be dumb if I was saying bad things about immigrants when my own family comes from a different country however THE POINT I MADE WAS LEGAL VS ILLEGAL
I guess I will stick to reading free republic vs posting because like with the democrat's you spinned everything that was said
I must have misunderstood you - many people on FR attack immigrants in general, particularly Hispanic immigrants, and I was probably overreacting to that. I think it's ugly and it really bothers me when I see it here.
As for La Raza, it's hardly indicative of the way Hispanics in general feel. It was an extreme left-wing movement that became important (to the press and the libs) in the 1970s and is not about to work for anything positive. Like the Dems, it stays in power by keeping Hispanic immigrants separated from the mainstream, and "bilingual" education is one way of doing this.
Illegal immigration is a serious problem, although my feeling is that the solution is a guest worker program that would legally admit more workers from Latin America and enable us to control the situation better. Right now, the legal limit is much lower than the need. In addition, we have to have the cooperation of Lat Am countries, particularly Mexico, in controlling the border. But we let rich, corrupt Mexico get off scot-free when we obsess on drastic short term solutions; we need a better policy, and we need to make them adhere to it as well.
As for terrorists, the vast majority even of illegals are not terrorists and are not working with them. Lack of control over the borders makes it easier for any terrorists to get in - but again, establishing a policy that is workable and firmly supported by both the US and Mexico will help prevent this. That said, Mexico is a very uncooperative country and seems to have gotten more difficult in recent years.
I visit Holland every year. Over the last 3 years I've seen their attitude toward Moslems changs slowly. They are not so liberal and understanding as they once were. Learning but slowly. Many Dutch Moslems don't even wear their beards anymore in Amsterdam , so as not to be noticed by a suspicious public.
