Is Prince Charles being groomed to become the Constantine of Islam in England?
Prince Charles has arrived to America to for an eight-day tour. His mission is to persuade W. Bush and the Americans of the merits of Islam. He has voiced private concerns over America s "confrontational" approach to Muslim countries and its failure to appreciate Islam's strengths. He thinks United States has been too intolerant of the religion.
What is behind this interest in Islam? Why would the Prince of Wales become an ambassador of this Arabian religion?
In a 1997 Middle East Quarterly article titled "Prince Charles of Arabia," Ronni L. Gordon and David M. Stillman looked at evidence that Britain s Prince Charles might be a secret convert to Islam.
This claim was put forward by no less a personage than the grand mufti of Cyprus : "Did you know that Prince Charles has converted to Islam. Yes, yes. He is a Muslim. I can't say more. But it happened in Turkey . Oh, yes, he converted all right. When you get home check on how often he travels to Turkey . You'll find that your future king is a Muslim." 2

Oh he threw some money in a fund and collected other people's money for charity. Big deal.
Damn! LOL!
How the hell could he cheat on Diane with THAT?!?!? /shudder
Excellent credentials for a Muslim convert. Sign him up!
Awfully decent of this bastion of morality to help us get our religious scrupples in place, don't you think?
So you approve of the ugly whore he chose to follow the innocent girl he married and betrayed?
Face Mecca, Bend Over,
Guess what's next.....
I read the entire article, and it's frightening. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and Charles is well on his way. Does he think, when Britain becomes an Islamic nation, that the mullahs will allow him to remain as puppet king? Is that the idea? He's out of his pointy headed little mind and Brits should be outraged.
One of the only positive things one can say about him is that he does understand and support livable, attractive residential architecture, which is a big improvement over what's often displayed. He would do better to stick to architecture and leave off talking about politics and religion.
Is it possible, he is the anti-Christ?
"Is it possible, he is the anti-Christ?"
- Too stupid IMO.
Are you sure you don't mean "inbweeding?" ;)
"Innocent girl"? The one who spread for anything that had pants and a pulse? The one who slept, slurped, and snorted her way into immortality? The one who had the maturity of Britney Spears and the intelligence of Madonna? No, I don't "approve" of any of them, but I agree with Mojo on the "Drunk, Divorced Floozie".
"Begone with this wimp!"
He just wants a "King Club" with the Saudis and few other rag-tag Asian depots so they can play like the Little Rascals together.
Oh for god's sake.... that really is the most utterly stupid article.
1: Prince Charles wouldn't convert to Islam as he knows full well that the monarch is also the Head of the Church of England, and if he renounced his Protestantism he would be barred from the succession. This IMO is stupid and anachronistic, and I'd welcome a constitutional crisis to sort it out.
2: As far as I'm aware, the Prince of Wales is interested less in Islam then in alternatives to woolly British religion. He favours an "integrated, spiritual view of the world in a way we have not seen fit to do in recent generations in the West". Charles is also fascinated by Orthodoxy, and has visited Mt Athos on many occasions. Indeed, he's said "We are hurtling into an abyss of depravity, profligacy, plunder, theft, complete immorality. The only place I see where there may be the beginning of some sort of regeneration is in Russia". You could write exactly the same article and entitle it "Prince Charles The Constantine of Orthodoxy?", predicting a UK where every village chuch spire is legally obliged to be demolished and replaced with an onion dome.
3: So what if he converted to Islam? Fine by me, it doesn't make a huge amount of difference. Hint to the author of the piece- the powers of a 4th century Roman Emperor and a 21st century British monarch do not exactly map... If Charles tried anything silly Parliament would tell him to piss off. If he persisted we'd have a new monarch sharpish.
In conclusion, this is bollocks.
If he is a moslem, then he cannot be King of England, because the King (or Queen, as Elizabeth) are the head of the Church of England. Too bad he didn't inherit more of the genes of Richard the Lionheart - a Crusader, who dealt with the moslems the only way that they understand, through brute force.
One woman with an elegant black dress, one with a blue dress with ugly trim/lining? Both with roughly the same hair color? Oh, you're right, it's eerie!
