Rioting Spreads to 20 Towns Around Paris
By JAMEY KEATEN, Associated Press Writer
Thu Nov 3, 2:55 PM ET

AULNAY-SOUS-BOIS, France - Rampaging youths shot at police and firefighters Thursday after burning car dealerships and public buses and hurling rocks at commuter trains, as eight days of riots over poor conditions in Paris-area housing projects spread to 20 towns.

Youths ignored an appeal for calm from President Jacques Chirac, whose government worked feverishly to fend off a political crisis amid criticism that it has ignored problems in neighborhoods heavily populated by first- and second-generation North African and Muslim immigrants.

As long as they are hell bent on burning up cars, maybe they could send them over to this place:

This is the french we're talking about. No way would they declair martial law. They'll probably surrender paris before that happens.

I heard an interesting comment about this today... i was watching abc news and they were saying that they are tired of the culture that is being imposed on them. the muslims im talking about. they want to turn it into an islamic state

I see no shooting yet. Just a matter of time. When they get a'hold of firearms, and they will, then all hell will break out.

There was some shooting at cops early this morning. At least some rioters have escalated things to that stage.

Where are the French people? Still trying to be civilized? When these clowns give a riot everybody should come, then it would stop!

Hey France, If you need any help, I'll be only too happy to send over a bunch of kerosene lanterns for the Muslim youth, you know, in case the lights go out...

Just trying to repay in a small way, all your recent and generous help at the UN and in Iraq.

/S

This is incredible wolfstar. Thanks for posting this.

Hi ladyinred. Good to "see" you, and you are most welcome. Frightening, isn't it. The Islamofacists are truly at war around the world. Now France is getting its taste of what others have experienced.

As I understand it, they are not much concerned with religion. They are ticked off mostly because the police are interfering with their drug-dealing and stolen-car rackets.

Yeah, but the reporters are trying to make it look like a poor-housing issue. They're almost as bad as CBS news here! Housing!

Man, I sure do agree with you on that sentiment. I hope Chirac's government falls over this. Slimy bastard.
