There's a load of stuff over at TB2K in the members area about a possible 13 attacks on the U.S scheduled for the next four weeks. Crowded areas, shopping malls and such. I can't crosspost becuase the info is in the members area and they don't allow but thought I would put this "out there". It seems some of the info came from Steve Quayle, so take what you will from that.
Heh, heh...touche'
Thanks for the ping on the Kansas City story. I didn't read or hear a word about this until I saw your post.
Hope everyone is getting better.
From what I hear it's a nasty bug out there.
It may be my imagination but it seems there are a lot of norovirus type bugs everywhere lately. Just as I went to check the spelling on this I found a whole page including another cruise ship article dated 11-29.
I haven't eaten strawberries since I used to pass the fields in southern Orange County where I saw the "people doing what Americans won't do" picking strawberries everyday. No bathroom facilities and pretty dirty looking.
I used to grow them myself when I lived by the beach. I may try again here now after winter. I used to get a vegetable wash at Trader Joe's in California that was pretty good.
There were outbreaks several years ago, people getting sick from cantaloupe of all things. You would think you were safe there, but when cutting through them the knife passes the salmonella or whatever from the rind right into the fruit.
That sounds like the nastiest little bug. We could probably put it up there with bird flu as something not to get. We will be in big trouble if we begin to get illnesses resistent to antibiotics running rampant.
Since you were not in the hospital or a nursing home it is possible to get this anywhere. Reminds me, I need to buy more Purell.
I'm certainly very glad you made it through that!!
>>>KHAAAAAAAAN = 11 letters and pulls many links.
Great googles, Granny.
First thing that came to my mind was William Shatner yelling KHAAAAAAN in Star Trek. LOL
Those were interesting, thanks for the ping.
A little closer to our border home.......

Official says agents tortured rival cartel
BY LAURENCE ILIFF AND ALFREDO CORCHADO
The Dallas Morning News
MEXICO CITY - Corrupt federal agents working for drug traffickers are the primary authors of a shocking video in which four enforcers for a rival cartel are interrogated and one is shot in the head, a top Mexican prosecutor said Thursday.
Eight federal agents and two civilians are in custody, accused of kidnapping and torturing the Nuevo Laredo-based Zetas, allies of the Gulf cartel, said Deputy Attorney General Jose Luis Santiago Vasconcelos. The eight are members of the elite Federal Investigative Agency, modeled on the FBI. Three more agents are considered fugitives, he added, and seven civilians are still at large.
The video of the interrogation and shooting was made public Thursday by The Dallas Morning News, prompting Vasconcelos to hold a news conference to respond to the graphic revelations.

Ah, Mexico a study in corruption!! Coming to a city near all of us.
Adding to the Philanthropist plane crash topic:
(snip)
The Coast Guard continued to search the waters off the south shore Friday for the pilot of a plane that dropped off Nantucket Memorial Airport radar just before 5 p.m. Thursday.
The plane, a twin-engine Beechcraft Baron inbound from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey with only New York philanthropist George F. Baker III aboard, disappeared off radar at 4:54 p.m. when it was about two and a half miles off the south shore. Officer Keith Mansfield of the Nantucket Police Department reported seeing three separate flashes of red lights approximately one mile offshore between Miacomet and Hummock ponds at 5:20 p.m., prompting the search to expand from the area just offshore from the airport runway closer to where the lights were spotted.

Iraqi police trainee missing in Berlin
An Iraqi police officer attending a training course in the German capital has been missing since Monday, the Interior Ministry said Friday.
Police have been searching for the 32-year-old, whose name was not released, since he was reported missing from the fenced and guarded compound in Berlin where his course was being conducted, ministry spokesman Bruno Kahl said.
The man's disappearance was not believed to be related to terrorism, and the government suspects he will return voluntarily by mid-December when his class is due to finish, Kahl said. The group is then expected to return to Iraq.
The European Union is training some 770 high-ranking Iraqi police in 21 courses around Europe. Two courses, with about 80 participants, are taking place in Germany.
All participants have been thoroughly vetted and have the proper visas to be in the country, Kahl said.

Sounds like emergency flares.
Quayle, IMHO, is like the Weekly World News. I would want some better sourcing than him to consider the material to be valid.

A little off topic but weren't passenger liners being fitted with counter measures to prevent a potential in flight missle attack?
