(CBS) NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. Amir Hossein Saadat aka Mike Saadat aka the "Big Nose Bandit" was apprehended on Friday morning by FBI agents. He was taken into custody in Costa Mesa, where he was staying with his father, Hosseinali Saadat, at the Vagabond Motel.
Mike Saadat has allegedly robbed 23 banks throughout Southern California and is currently being held at a Santa Ana jail on a no bail federal warrant. Saddat's father was booked into the Newport Beach Police department after being charged as an accessory. Hosseinali bail is set at $50,000.
