The public education system as a whole is diametrically opposed to Christianity or any religion (aside for that which is politically correctat the moment) at this point, and the unions are the money source for the financial arm of the DNC. There are still many good Christians stuck in this system but they need to wake up and exit it imho as it is a political self perpetuating creature. We need to set up a private but national alternative Christian education system to expedite this. The parochial system (which used to function as such an independent system to some degree) is for the most part in alliance with the public system and is compromised beyond repair. BAGHDAD, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Sunni insurgents in Iraq say they are
ready to talk to the United States about ending the war, but U.S.
officials doubt the offer is genuine, a report said.

Ayham Al Samarai -- who heads an organization called the
Independent Iraqis Grouping and claims to represent the Iraqi
resistance -- told the Middle East Newsline that seven insurgent
groups were ready to talk with U.S. officials about ending fighting in
Iraq.

Al Samarai said insurgents would not negotiate with Iraq's interim
government.

"The people who are resisting are doing so honorably to protect this
country," Al Samarai said. "The government must recognize them as
legitimate representatives of the Iraqis."

U.S. officials told the independent news agency they doubted the offer
to talk peace was genuine.

So much attention to the corruption of the oil business, but those in pharmaceuticals and health insurance are equally corrupt IMHO. The cost of drugs and health insurance are key factors for many problems our country faces. When I worked for an offshoot of one of the major pharmaceutical companies, their annual sales meeting was held in St. Lucia. Hardly the sign of budget constraints to my way of thinking.

Donna is a Lt. on the Denver Police Department, I love her mind, it is clean and clear, no matter what the subject.

I am not sure who she is filling for, but she is worth listening to.

She has humor and reality, she just told a story that has me smiling still.....

A 911 call for a female officer only, no men, so Donna answered it, expecting a rape, etc.

She found a woman, who had a hot date, was getting dressed, put on a corset, laced it too tight, fainted, hit her head,
couldn't stand so crawled to the phone and called 911.

Donna cut the corset off with her pocket knife.

Then there was the time years ago, when she went on protest at the studio, in the middle of the summer, when the air conditioner went off, so she announced she was doing the program in the nude and every truck driver within reach of her sexy voice called the program...(and a couple of perverts, who did not know that she was a policeman)....they did fix the air conditioner.

We have had it before, or very close.

We did a lot of research on it, OBL in a cave, a Falcon and possibly the part about being in the belly of an Eagle.

The black flags are the fighters, the gold treasure is either Allah or OBL.

the court said that it was convinced that Azuz had terrorist intentions, however, he did not have the means at his disposal with which to act on those intentions.

With a little help from his friends, Azuz might get a second chance to "act on his intentions." Looking more and more like the lives of the world's law-abiding decent citizens are of no value whatsoever to judges in many of our world's countries. Protecting the rights of terrorists seems to be a top priority.

ORANJESTAD (AAN): Yesterday afternoon, a San Nicolas patrol car was sent to Cura Cabay, just behind a company that fixes cars and motorcycles, since a dead person was found in a container.

The person in question is the known mechanic Robert Waybe Benson, born in the U.S., of 58 years of age, resident of Pos Abao, who the day before had disappeared, according to his wife.

The owner of the business, aware of his disappearance, asked two employees to go take a look at the container, they forced the door of the container which was padlocked and when opening it they encountered the lifeless body.
