"The very mention of Christ in public schools or prayers prior to a game are grounds for litigation."

The public education system as a whole is diametrically opposed to Christianity or any religion (aside for that which is politically correctat the moment) at this point, and the unions are the money source for the financial arm of the DNC. There are still many good Christians stuck in this system but they need to wake up and exit it imho as it is a political self perpetuating creature. We need to set up a private but national alternative Christian education system to expedite this. The parochial system (which used to function as such an independent system to some degree) is for the most part in alliance with the public system and is compromised beyond repair. Here's a good book for an eyeopener on the underground history of american education:

Certainly "tinkles" me off.

Going to Sears tomorrow just to see if they really do market their Christmas trees as "Wishing Trees". Cannot see that happening here in this terriby red state. I will lead a protest if they do.

Wow, that is a fascinating link. Thanks for posting it. I am a product of elementary parochial schooling. I got paddled at home when I got an A-. There was NO fooling around in school - no head turning, no talking without raising my hand and waiting for acknowledgement. No child left those classes without acquiring great manners. There's something fantastic to be said for that kind of education IMHO. Public school was a joke in comparison.
