Orders from Brussels: Spell Christ with a lower-case “c
Contender Ministries ^ | November 1st, 2005 | Jen Rast

If the E.U. ordered Islam and Muhammad to henceforth be spelled with a lower case “i” and a lower case “m”, Muslims would riot, people would die, and the U.N. would pass a resolution condemning Islamophobia. Creating grammar rules dictating that Christ, Jew, and Judaism be spelled with lower case letters, however, will be met with silence. Christophobia is totally acceptable in the new age of the Caliphate.

Since Muslims hate Christians and Jews, it’s actually a form of tolerance to avoid offending Islam by showing any respect for other religions. Is it just me, or are things really going down hill fast in this world? At least we can count on Prince Charles to travel the world urging tolerance of Christianity, right? . . . . . . No?

It must be getting a little too close for Christmas for the chi-chi crystal palace of the pretentious European Union. Pooh-bahs in Brussels have come up with a new grammar rule for themselves and the Netherlands–making it official that the name “Christ” will soon be written with a lower-case “c”. That was the stipulation in an orthography reform published earlier this month in Brussels.

According to the Kath.net agency, the new spelling legislation will also stipulate that the Dutch word for “jews” (joden) be spelled with a capital “J” when referring to nationality and with a lower-case “j” when referring to the religion. The changes will be mandatory in August of 2006. There is no description of the fines offenders will face if they keep right on spelling “Christ” with a capital “C”.

The new spelling regulations are coming from the same folk, who include as one of their seat numbers in the august and austere chamber in which they gather to prevaricate on all things politically correct, the number 666.

The European Union hierarchy may have numbered the seat 666, but at last count no one has had the courage to actually claim the seat as their own.

At the European Union, the name of the humble carpenter from Nazareth may be diminished by lower-case spelling, but Javier Solana, The Great will continue to have his name spelled in capital letters. . . . .

e u is the designation for tiny minded islam a@@ kissers. They think if they grovel before the ragheads they will be left alone to continue to create the world eutopia. They are wrong. As they have been wrong in the past. However, this time I think we should just butt out of their problems when they come and let them defend their own homes.

Muslims rioting is as natural as dogs barking and pigs rooting in sh/t.

Since Muslims hate Christians and Jews, it’s actually a form of tolerance to avoid offending Islam by showing any respect for other religions. Is it just me, or are things really going down hill fast in this world?

Much of Europe and a disconcertingly high number of leftists here in America are frankly on a suicide mission due to a combo of self/western culture-hatred and political correctness gone haywire. The only way to cure their sickness is with a healthy dose of appropriately-directed anger, but alas the only way they'll get angry enough to change their attitudes about Islam is for their countries to become the targets of regular and massive terrorist attacks. Either way we're screwed.

"Correct me if I am wrong but Islam reveres Jesus as a prophet -- and when the Last Temptation of Christ was circulating in cinemas Iran banned it and condemned it. "

Christ is acknowledged as one of the prophets of god, and such, but I don't think he is acknowledged as the son of god, which would make him "the Christ."

The drawback, however, is that there is no way to reconcile Islam as a follow up to Christianity. The very things that Islam establishes as requirements, the strict exercise of faith, the general punishments of violations of those exercises and so on, are precisely counter to the things that Jesus was defying. Christ was killed cuz he didn't demand much. In Islam everyone else dies cuz they demand everything. Completely counter to the education of Free Will that fundamental to the faith of Christ.

Ironic this is coming from an atheist. (me)

Our enemy is not Islam, it is the atheistic leadership of western Europe.

You don't have enough enemies. I can be enemies with both at the same time, and throw in Hillary worshipers for flavor.

Do what they will but in the end, GOD wins:

Philippians 2:9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, (10) so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, (11) and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Yes, Islam reveres Jesus as a prophet, and then denies everything he taught about himself. Or, as they would put it, they have the true teachings of and about Jesus and the Church and its New Testament has it all wrong.

As far as continental Europe goes -- I'm always reminded that it was the birthplace of communism and fascism, and that the EU seems to have learned nothing from that history.

"Our enemy is not Islam,...."

Wrong. We have many enemies and islam and islamofascists in general are our enemies. They just happen to be the enemy I most want to hurt.

You never know. In print in various sources I certainly am seeing more instances of lowercase g for God in expressions such as "oh my god" or "for god's sake." Could it be a trend?

In German, ALL nouns are capitalized, not just proper nouns. I wonder what they'll do about that?

Now there is going to be spelling censorship and a financial punishment?

Already is in the French Quarter (er, Montreal ) of Canada.
