Its in the tens of thousands at least. This has a long way to go, and I doubt it will get anywhere near a record.

It appears to me that if the dumbcrats offered up $hit sandwiches the clueless GOP majority would eat them all. It is disgusting to watch a bunch of spineless jackasses who call themselves Republicans in the senate cow tow to Dirty Harry and his gang.

Exactly. President Bush is not running for reelection. Dick Cheney is not running for President. Cheap political stunts will not faze them. They have "moved on" to coin a phrase and are about the business of helping Iraq prepare for its historic December elections -- elections which, by the way, will take place while the Congress is adjourned and the Democrats have no mouthpieces in Washington. Bush and Cheney know this is just six weeks away. And once it occurs, and a real deomcratic government is in place in Iraq, all carping about prewar intelligence is going to look really, really stupid.
Keep your eyes on the prize.

Watching Reid and knowing the actions of the dems,,there is something almost unlawful about them. I swear, you would think they were going to do something really wild, like seize the floor of the senate with revolutionaries.
I think the dems are seriously unhinged, seriously.

The issue is not their invoking some obscure rule, legitimately or otherwise. It's about the Repub response.

Slight paraphrasing, but yes, "anybody would have to be deaf" was his first response to the reporter's question.

If they want a war we damn well ought to give them one!

It sounds like it's time for the President of the Senate, Dick Cheney, to show up for work. Maybe the Senate could use a little direction from the Executive branch. Didn't he have some kind of tradition of being there on some Tuesdays?

Ditto SS! If the libs want war that is exactly what they are gonna get. No more Mr. Nice Guy and no more tolerance. From this day forward I embark on a scorched earth policy when it comes to politics and I intend to leave my enemies wondering what hit them.

Your points are well taken- however...my son, and thousands of other Americans in the armed forces have gone to Iraq to fight this war. I am completely fed up with Republicans allowing the spin on WMD etc to go on- it does great to dishonor to our servicemen and women. It's one thing to let em whirl when it's about lesser issues. NOT when it comes to WAR.
