The Tony Snow Show-Tuesday, November 1, 2005
Fox Radio | 11/1/05 | Tony Snow

Posted on 11/01/2005 5:46:12 AM PST by Bahbah

HAS THE BASE BETRAYED THE PRESIDENT? Have conservatives let the President down? Is Bush tired of fighting conservatives versus liberal battles? Guest hos John Gibson wonders if the base has actually been more harmful than helpful to the President's agenda.

JOE WILSON IS NOT THE PRESIDENT. Joe Wilson seems to think that he is the smartest man in the world. However, the lying, prentension and demonstrable incompetence suggest otherwise.

Go Home, CHUCK. During Prince Charles' first visit to the United States in a decade, the heir to the British throne wants to lecture Americans on their "overly confrontational" attitude towards Muslims. Why?

You can find out more information about the line-up, stream Tony's show, find local radio stations as well as other fun stuff off his website.

CLICK HERE and follow the "Listen Live" link to stream the show which runs from 9 AM est to noon.

moongriffon.com streams the show every day from 3:00 to 6:00 PM (EDT).

WMET airs Tony’s show on the web from 9-12 EST. Another way to hear Tony’s show is by streaming it at 7pm CST on klif.com

Yet another source of the show is at 1190wamt.com which streams at least part of Tony’s show during its regular air time.

You can also listen to Tony on WGTX  live, in color and on time.........HERE

Sirius Channel 142 also carries the show live.

To call the show and talk to Tony dial: 1.866.408.SNOW

By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later. If you’d like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

I love Christmas. I have decided to go the gawdy route in home decorations. My house is lit up like the Griswolds (Chevy Chase reference)! I am like a little kid when I see the first decorations in the stores.

Much to my chagrin, in San Diego, I can shop for presents in shorts and flip flops. It doesn't put one in a very festive mood so I have to counter it with my electric bill. LOL!

Oh....you were really in a war zone in Spencer's! I won't go in there on a quiet day, much less at any holiday! *shudder*

I take great satisfaction when seeing someone peering in wantin us to open just to stand there and shrug like I have no idea what they want! LOL......I guess we can get a bit sadistic during that time, too!

I know what you mean. Kohl's does the same thing. The one that cracked me up were the commercials for The Gap. People were dressed in festive clothes (in every color, BUT red and green) and exchanging gifts while hippy rock played. There was no mention of even "winter holidays", for all we knew thoses people could have had December birthdays. They were the worst.

I'd boycott, but then I would have to start shopping there in the first place. ;-)

I am doing more of that too. After dealing with the rudeness in my store, I sure don't want to go to another store and hear more of the same stuff! I just want to escape the whole thing and go stay on a mountain somewhere! LOL!

LOL! I thank God every year for technology that gives me the peace I need to buy gifts for the family online.Last time I went shopping in a store people screamed and yelled at the cashier when the store didn't have what they wanted.. It was awful. I used to be a cashier. I am very kind to cashiers when I do go to the store. I know what a rotten and thankless job they have.

Excuse me... but Charles is the last one we should be listening to. He needs to go home, groom his horse (Cami) and get his muslims in line.

Jersey is seriously cracking down on all things Christmas. I'm not having it. I didn't shop at Macy's because of their non-Christmas policy, they took away the party and bonuses from the employees (so I doubt they got paid extra for working it), yet after it After Christmas sale was everywhere (TV, papers) from them. BS

Gibby is spot on with the ACLU intimidation.

My daughter's school (state supported not owned) had religion classes (Cat, Jew, Isl), one week after school starts they tell me they can't teach them anymore, the next week I get papers to sign for a 'health' or sex-ed class (my daughter's ten btw)... I don't think so. Yesterday I get a box of candy for them to sell with a page on top extolling the greatness of the overnight trip in NYC they gave the senior class due to last years candy sales... I don't think so. Don't get me started on the Girl Scouts there... Needless to say, I am looking for a school, hard because she's disabled and needs a daily nurse... other than that, she's good to go.

LOL! I love the gaudy houses! That's just....Christmasy! Yeah, it's usually warm here, too, and hard to get into the spirit, even if I could after dealing with other peoples' poor spirit!

Well,I do get into the mood eventually, but it takes me a while.

It is hard to keep Christmas a joyous occasion when you work retail, since you see Christmas merchandise arriving in June and then they start playing the Christmas tunes sometimes before Thanksgiving,it takes all the fun out of Christmas.

Yes, I try to be nice to the people who wait on me...smile and thank them and sympathize with them when they have just been yelled at for the umpteenth time right before my turn. I long to get to stay home and actually FEEL good about it!

Probably not a bad idea. He will get the affiliates that wanted Savage and couldn't get him. But Savage will still rule the time slot.

LOL!! Those houses are the best. Usually a week or so before Christmas we go out driving around looking for those houses. There is one in my husbands old neighborhood that has every single square inch of their lawn covered with those plastic light-up figures.

Closer to Christmas HGTV usually has a show about people who really do up their houses. It's really something else. There was one guy who put on a laser show!

It's a crazy time of the year and sometimes I think it was a mistake to go into retail, but at the time it was the only field that needed people.LOL.
