HAS THE BASE BETRAYED THE PRESIDENT? Have conservatives let the President down? Is Bush tired of fighting conservatives versus liberal battles? Guest hos John Gibson wonders if the base has actually been more harmful than helpful to the President's agenda.
JOE WILSON IS NOT THE PRESIDENT. Joe Wilson seems to think that he is the smartest man in the world. However, the lying, prentension and demonstrable incompetence suggest otherwise.
Go Home, CHUCK. During Prince Charles' first visit to the United States in a decade, the heir to the British throne wants to lecture Americans on their "overly confrontational" attitude towards Muslims. Why?

Thanks....maybe I'll remember that when I am ready to fly over the counter and throttle some jerk who is mad because they waited till late Christmas eve to shop and we are out of what they want. GRRRRRRRRR....../rant....*sigh*
Start with the outing (Russian) and the Cuban outing.
That's probably why she was brought in.
"In her business, people get very good about sticking to their story," said Mr Wilson, who has told friends that when they were dating Ms Plame told him about her true vocation only because he, too, had a high-level security clearance as a political adviser to the American general who was commanding US forces in Europe.

I, too, used to work in retail. People are very rude at Christmas time. I don't even go Christmas shopping in the stores anymore. I do all my shopping online.
It would be wonderful....and it would make my job sooooo much more pleasant!
I make it a point to say a joyous "Merry Christmas" several times a day during the Christmas season. I say it to store clerks, postal employees, everybody. I'm assertive (but not aggressive) with it. It's one of my ways to counter the Anti-Christian Lawyers Union.
For 11 years, I was a vendor in "Toys R Us" in the No. VA area.
I saw the WORST of the season - the hoking in the parking lot, the grabbing of toys out of someone else's basket as it was the last one in the store, kids who think it's fun to unroll every roll of toilet tissue, including all the spares, and on and on.
This year, I am going to enjoy the Christmas shopping season for the first time in 12 years -as I will not be in ANY store for at least a week before Christmas, and definitely not within a week after.
I've been making most of my presents. I'm happy to report that I have all but one of them finished and am madly working on the needlepoint one that is still unfinished. It's been so much fun - to know I won't be out in that hassle.

TNT, I think you just outed Plame as the oldest spy at the CIA! 8)
OK, TNT & CA, I am here and I am still behind, but lept 100 posts ahead to see what was happening in real time. Blame some of my tardiness on AliVeritas for her fascinating links this AM.
I know her heinousness didn't open her mouth about lying.
I know....plus the fact that we have to work throughout the whole thing and never have time to even enjoy our families! I long for the day when I don't have to do it! And now YOU have two of you in retail. You'll never get to see each other!
I wouldn't expect all the attacks on nativity scenes in the little town I live...made the news and a mockery out of our "officials".
I am doing more of that too. After dealing with the rudeness in my store, I sure don't want to go to another store and hear more of the same stuff! I just want to escape the whole thing and go stay on a mountain somewhere! LOL!
Oh I remember! Yes, I very much appreciated Fox's Christmas wishes too. Very much.
OTOH, I was so danged mad at Target for their stoooopid "Joy to the World" using that danged rock song melody that it made me 100% boycott their store. That boycot has continued for a full year and I see no end in sight to it. We'll see if they use the same thing again, it was nauseating.
I know.:(
If it wasn't for the kids we wouldn't celebrate at all.
I miss baking cookies with my sweet girl, but there doesn't seem to be enough time to do it anymore so now she bakes them on her own.
But they didn't hesitate to push KWANZA on the kids.
There is nothing worse than PARENTS looking for the toy for their kids. They have just given up any semblance of Christianity by the way they act! Sheesh!
Thanks.
Folks like you can make all the difference in a day filled with rude shoppers.
