Al Qaeda 'infiltrates Gaza'

The head of Israel's counter-terrorism task force says militants from Osama bin Laden's Al Qaeda network have slipped into the Gaza Strip.

In an interview with Army Radio, the counter-terrorism chief, Danny Arditi, said Al Qaeda militants had crossed into Gaza from Egypt's Sinai Peninsula in the chaotic aftermath of Israel's pullout from the Palestinian territory.

For several days after the withdrawal, thousands of people were allowed to cross the Gaza-Egypt border unhindered.

Brigadier-General Arditi says Al Qaeda already has several cells in the Sinai, which have carried out two attacks in the last year, leaving more than 100 people dead.

The so-called Palestinians currently get a pass on the
War On Terror, despite the fact that they are almost
indistinguishable from other jihadis.

"almost" - to date the various Pali thug groups have
been very careful to only make war on/threats against
Israel. On the one occasion I can recall where they
made noises in the US direction, they retracted them.

If the PA allows AlQ to operate in Gaza or West Bank,
it will be impossible for the White House to pretend
that "Palestine" still belongs on the no-bomb list.

At the very least, the money to the PA will stop.

I really think the Palestinians and terrorists should all take a trip back to Jordan where most came from.

If the Middle East wanted peace with the Jews they would have bought some real estate for the Palestinians long ago.

IMO, it has always been about the destruction of the Jews and not about the land.

If you go back a while in time, much of Egypt was Israel. Let Israel have all they want now and the rest of the Middle East should go back to killing themselves off in tribal warfare.

So you advocate the expulsion of Christians who have lived in what are now the borders of Israel for longer than Europeans have lived in North America do you?

Al Qaeda has already been in Gaza since the Jewish residents were first forced to leave that area, if not before (probably long before). ...sorry that I didn't keep links to support that.

al-Qaida has been in Gaza for quite some time. They were invited it. They had no need to infiltrate. Israel has long documented Hamas ties to al-Qaida but nobody has paid attention.

I seriously doubt that. President Bush has to make nice to his patrons in the Saudi royal family.
