The so-called Palestinians currently get a pass on the
War On Terror, despite the fact that they are almost
indistinguishable from other jihadis.

"almost" - to date the various Pali thug groups have
been very careful to only make war on/threats against
Israel. On the one occasion I can recall where they
made noises in the US direction, they retracted them.

If the PA allows AlQ to operate in Gaza or West Bank,
it will be impossible for the White House to pretend
that "Palestine" still belongs on the no-bomb list.

At the very least, the money to the PA will stop.

al-Qaida has been in Gaza for quite some time. They were invited it. They had no need to infiltrate. Israel has long documented Hamas ties to al-Qaida but nobody has paid attention.

I seriously doubt that. President Bush has to make nice to his patrons in the Saudi royal family.

Why ? I don't think it would/ or will make any difference but would simply be business as usual.
