I need help with audio or video clips if anyone has access to either Rush Limbaugh or the Talking Points Memo from last nights Oreilly Factor.

Rush had no time to say anything, as the Fitzmass press
conference and Q&A session ran right past the end of his
show's timeslot. He might have got one snort in just
before he went off air.

Bill O is a populist, and a pompous populist at that.
He is a waste of valuable air time, on both radio and
TV, perhaps more especially on TV, since that show is
often a re-hash of his underinformed opinion on radio.

Ugh, I knew I should've saved it. Actually, OReilly didn't specifically say it was in response to the indictments. He said it was how they were reacting to the whole thing. After he played Rush, who sounded great, he played 2 loons from the left who sounded crazy. Afterwards he generally said the same thing about the whole fiasco as Rush did. Afterwards I thought about it and realized he just wanted to play a clip of Rush dissing the NYT and lib media. That was my take anyway.

His talking points memo was more interesting to me. Not only did he say that Plame was covert, but also said that Bush said in his SOTU speech that Iraq attempted to get uranium from Niger, not Africa. It was a mess and I wrote to tell him so. If I find a copy of his talking points I'll let ya know.

Rush has been making those comments for a while.

O'Reilly did paint Rush as a right-wing goofball and spoke of left-wing goofballs to balance it.

The problem is that I do think Rush is right that the MSM & Democrats want to bring down the Bush Administration. That's not goofball stuff. That's reality.

O'Reilly's just jealous that Rush's audience is far more than Bill O's radio & tv audience combined.

If watch (or listen to) O'Reilly, you get what you deserve. It's like sleeping with dogs - you will probably get infested with fleas.

O'Reilly implied that Rush and the nutty leftists over at Air America are two sides of the same "extremist" coin, and that only he is "fair and balanced."

O'Reilly probably kisses his image in the mirror in the morning. He does make good points from time to time, but his friggin' ego overshadows his own opinions.

For some reason OR does not like Rush. OR seems to think thank Rush is a no talent ideology. Go figure.

I don't think that Rush had time to comment after Fitzgerald made his remarks. He did talk over Fitzgerald to interject that if the stakes were so high, then why not indict someone for violation of the statute.

We are "THE IDEOLOGUES".

That's the word you use after you settle out of court.

Personally, I think O'Reilly disrespected Rush on purpose. He was probably in a huff because Hannity had Rush on the air earlier in the week. If Rush is as smart as I think that he is, he will not give O'Reilly the time of day. Conservatives used to think Fox News was fashionable because as the new kid on the block it tried to distance itself from the biases of the MSM. Fox News is no longer fashionable to this conservative. Lou Dobbs and even Larry King make better viewing than O' Reilly and Greta. As far as the other shows go, Fox needs to get some new blood as far as consultants go. Newt, Dick Morris, Judge Napolitano et al are wearing very thin. I do believe that the latest ratings show that CNN is narrowing the gap a bit. In O' Reilly's time slot it appears he has a bigger margin than he actually does. CNN Headline with Nancy Grace has a significant audience. particularly when you compare it to the other CNN Headline. programs. If you add Zahn and Grace together, O'Reilly still has a big lead but not as much as it appears.

The second he did a promo that tried to label Rush as a right wing Michael Moore I was outta there -- forever. I used to think O.R. did some good but he's become a full-time pompous ass.

Bill O has always been green with envy when it comes to Rush. Rush has the audience O'Blowhard thinks he deserves.
