Well, no. Let's say (I don't believe it, but just say) that Plame was involved in some undercover work in, say, Africa; that by outing her name, it could be argued that all those she associated with in Africa now were in jeopardy; and that the Sp. Pros. cannot explain that because it would further endanger anyone if other sources didn't put two and two together. I can see national security reasons for not explaining specifically how this "damaged" the country. It was a throwaway statement, which cannot be proven openly, and Fitzy knew it, but that doesn't mean that it did not endanger people---IF she was actually involved such things.

These indictments are nothing more than an attempt to flip Scooter - threaten him with serious jail time unless he gives up higher administration officials. Since Scooter has already lied to a grand jury would he lie again to avoid prison??
