OK, Let's hear what Levin has to say.
Exactly.
Ali, do you have a blog somewhere?
Still saying the facts are that Rove to Libby and Miller...
Where do they get the facts? kinkos?
They already ran to the closet. I just hope they aren't peeing in their wittle pants. I just wish for once, someone in the GOP would stand up to these rats!!!
Bill Clinton wants to be JFK (with out joining the military, that is).
The only thing is that the MSM couldn't protect him as they did JFK's peccadillo's. (thanks to Talk radio and the net)
Now that talk radio has gone to the Net, they want to get the U.N. involved.
Second, Fitzy also said (and this concerns me) that they are still investigating who leaked (in so many words). Just because he didn't reveal this today doesn't mean he won't reveal it later, or prosecute, or decline to prosecute, something related to the "underlying crime." I don't think that means a lot.
Libby, I'm sure, will have a good defense, and the matters seem sufficiently murky to me that even IF he were guilty, the prosecution would have a hard time convincing any jury of that.
"Face it, he was still sending people to neighbors houses two days ago... sloppy investigation."
As I listened to his press event I believe he knows that his overall investigation has produced very little fruit. He seemed to be on the defense to that very question. He had moments of unease that went beyond public speaking nervousness. He looked like he's hunting snipe.
You must bathe thoroughly after visiting diving in the DUmpster.
1 count of stealing.
1 count of failing to link.
1 count of cooperating with the prosecution.
1 count of confessing.
And we're keeping the investigation open just in case. :-)
"It doesn't matter what Plame's neighbors did or did not know, which is why sending FBI agents out to interview neighbors had, in my view, little to do with the law, and everything to do with Fitzgerald wanting to announce, as he did today, that her neighbors didn't know she worked at the CIA. Fitzgerald is trying to claim this is about defending a CIA officer's identity and national security. But this is not the case. The issue, as a matter of law, is whether she was classified as covert by the CIA, and whether the CIA took steps to protect her identity."
Sorry to be such a Levin-groupie on this here Hannity thread, but I can't help myself...
This was most disconcerting. It implied that Fitzy didn't know the difference between "classified" (of whom I was a "classified" government worker several years ago, but everyone knew what I was working on, and with whom) and "covert."
No, my friends want me to get one... even said they'll back me with cash, a server and a drive that rocks...
Alas, my daughter is disabled and has a lot of doctor's appts., hospitalized with operations a lot and I am a disabilities advocate usually vs. the board of ed (hearings, blah). I might give it a stab though. I write and post at my friends blogs sometimes when I have time.
Agreed- which puts Libby/White House in a difficult position. If he took it to trial- he might well be found not-guilty. If he took it to trial it would ALSO keep this front and center for the libs/media for 3 years. So- Libby may have to take the hit and go to federal prison for a year or so?
And Libby's defense team needs must subpoena ALL of these people; including Valerie, who told Joe, in the middle of a makeout session, in a car, on one of their earliest dates, IN EUROPE, that she was A SPY!
More pork to trim... Kinko's.
Send me links to your postings in the future. I have seen Group Blogs out there, and that may be a good route to go. It's getting hard to keep up with all your great posts.
I went to DU, but didn't look around. I'll just watch CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC and CBS tonight.
And read my local paper in the morning.
