It was odd that Fitz started out the whole conference with "She was a classified CIA employee, and it was not well known, and not even her family or neighbors knew"
Do you think that was all based on the last minute questioning (Wednesday?) of a neighbor or two?
That would be extremely shoddy work to only get to it at that point, plus, it would be so embarrassing if Fitz put all his marbles behind that last minute checking and didn't research the pre-investigation news stories saying exactly the opposite.

It really looks like Fitz did a sloppy, inept, lousy job of this. He could have been far better served, if he had had someone just monitor FR. We had the answers to it all, more than a year ago. Valerie's neighbors may have claimed that they didn't know that she worked for the CIA, but we did!
