When Libby goes to trial, he NUST call Andrea Mitchell to testify. SHE KNEW AND SAID THAT IT WAS WIDELY KNOWN that Valerie's status was that she worked at the CIA.

Rollins (worked in the Reagan admin.) said if the pres was smart he would say we have work to do and things to work on... and not to trumpet innocence but don't slam Libby either, list his service.

Nope- he didn't. Not sure about Libby- I've always heard good things about him, but who knows? It's hard for me to understand defense attorneys- but he was a lawyer for Marc Rich.
The other point about what GWB said- NOT ONE NASTY remark about the prosecutor- the grand jury, etc. Completely dignified.

On a Brit Hume panel long ago the same thing was said. Many seemed to know who Wilson's wife was. It would be interesting to see exactly what Libby said and what the reporters interviewed said.
