School calendar will be strictly secular

TAMPA - Her voice small and hesitant, 11-year-old Rahma Elmohd told Hillsborough School Board members Tuesday night that she "would like it a lot" if students could get one day off for a Muslim holiday.

It was not to be.

Nearly a year after local Muslims first asked that an Islamic holiday be recognized by the school district - just like Yom Kippur for Jews and Good Friday for Christians - board members voted to end vacation days for all religious holidays.

The board approved a 2006-07 calendar that substitutes three secular vacation days for three Christian and Jewish holidays. The vote was 5-1. Board member Carol Kurdell was absent.

About 50 Muslims, many of them women and girls wearing scarves, attended the packed meeting. They said they were disappointed and saddened by the board's vote but will continue to ask for recognition. Several said they worry about a backlash against Muslims.

"We feel like this is an extreme measure," said Ahmed Bedier, Florida director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. "We can't say it enough, especially to Christian and Jewish folks, our brothers and sisters in faith: This was not our doing, and we didn't ask for it."

Of course it was, you scum. You come to this country and do nothing but complain and harping has now resulted in harm to Christians and Jews.

Should we riot and kill Muslims as would happen in your homelands?

Since its founding in 1994, the Council on American-Islamic Relations and its employees have combined, conspired, and agreed with third parties, including, but not limited to, the Islamic Association for Palestine (“IAP”), the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (“HLF”), the Global Relief Foundation (“GRF”), and foreign nationals hostile to the interests of the United States, to provide material support to known terrorist organizations, to advance the Hamas agenda, and to propagate radical Islam. The Council on American-Islamic Relations, and certain of its officers, directors, and employees, have acted in support of, and in furtherance of, this conspiracy.

Not to mention Tir's day, which comes before Woden's day, and Frey's day, which comes after Thor's day.

Publik Skools have not had christian-named holidays for years thanx to the ACLU. If Christians and Jews can't have Christmas, Easter, Columbus, Yom KIpper, Rosh Hashanna etc then the Mussies can't have theirs either.

Now they know what it feels like. If they don't like the lack of religious freedom for them they can pack it up and go back.

USA is wrong for allowing people into this country that just will not allow it to continue as it has always been.
Americans have no other country to run to when ours goes to
"Hell".

Sure.Take your pick. What'll it be.Iran?Iraq? How about Indonesia? Can I show you something nice in a Sudan? You'll get plenty of Muslim holidays off in these places.

I can't even imagine moving to India(say) and demanding that everything shut down on Christmas because it's an important day to me.

Peter delineated the means by which people are brought into Godly communion:
Acts 2:37-41 -
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Jesus said the following to the group he taught in the Temple treasury whose intent was to kill him:
Jhn 8:19
"Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also."

Funny thing is today's Christian has eliminated this from Scripture because he and the church knows better. According to them people can know the Father even if they hate or don't acknowledge the Son as the Son and without being called by the Son or the Holy Spirit, much less the Father.

I don't know what they do with
Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.

Bull. That's exactly what you did, and you got exactly what you wanted.

That's something I won't worry about. Not now. Not ever.
