Today President Bush addressed the Joint Armed Forces Officers' Wives' Luncheon at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington D.C., voicing his administration's support of the troops, and his commitment to the War on Terror and specifically the mission in Iraq. He later met with the President of the Iraqi Regional Government of Kurdistan, Masoud Barzani, in the Oval Office of the White House. I highly recommend reading President Barzani's comments about our courageous President.
You can also read the entire powerful speech that the President made at the Joint Armed Forces Officers' Wives' Luncheon HERE .
The President will speak this evening at the 30th Anniversary of the RNC Eagles.

Yes, but we're in a period of controversial policies right now, at least according to the left.

Oh, and speaking of toasters, I think a Karl Rove model would be appropriate.

My meal was scrumptious. :)
I had put the chicken and potatoes in the oven an hour before, and Mr. Ohio came home and fixed the veggies.
Nice teamwork that enabled me to get the DOSE going and still eat a nutritious meal. :)

wonderful and powerful speech by the President today. Thank you for posting it. I was lucky enough to hear the beginning about Laura and their anniversary. It put me in a good mood all day.
Thanks for the Dose today, ohio, the best respite from the crazy Has Been Media!

Nina Eason (I think - of the Boston Glove) compared Pres. Bush to Lincoln, who was highly criticized during the Civil War but is now regarded as one of our greatest presidents. Your chart has lots more detail. Thanks again.Nina is right..........I think there are lots of comparisons between Presidents Bush and Lincoln.
And for the record, the chart is DrDeb's...........I just reformatted it for posting...........at least as best as I knew how.
But you're welcome (cause it took me a LONG time to get it to even look that good! ;)

She might drop in later on, I don't know. I told her not to worry about that, just rest and get well.

I would love to get the chance to meet President and Mrs. Bush in person and sit down for dinner and to chat. Like that would happen, but I'd sure enjoy it!

Thanks for the link, Deb.
I'm listening, not only to the President's GREAT speech, but to Hugh's fine commentary about it.
