Today President Bush addressed the Joint Armed Forces Officers' Wives' Luncheon at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington D.C., voicing his administration's support of the troops, and his commitment to the War on Terror and specifically the mission in Iraq. He later met with the President of the Iraqi Regional Government of Kurdistan, Masoud Barzani, in the Oval Office of the White House. I highly recommend reading President Barzani's comments about our courageous President.
You can also read the entire powerful speech that the President made at the Joint Armed Forces Officers' Wives' Luncheon HERE .
The President will speak this evening at the 30th Anniversary of the RNC Eagles.
Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!!
Hi, Ohio! I know I'm a total stranger these days. Love Dr Deb's analysis. Hope you and family are well. Take care.
Thank you!!
Oh! I had forgotten that her new one had come out. Gotta have it!
Do you read Kathy Reichs?.....hers are very good, too!
Just heard from the lady herself :)
She sounds in good spirits but says, "... it is still very uncomfortable to sit at the puter for long periods of time....so if Im not there tonight, you'll understand why... tell all my friends hi tonight...."
So on Mystery's behalf: HI!
And prayers sent.

You're not alone :) Those polls can be skewed in such a way that they can produce any number.
Good evening Ohio
Enjoy your meal
Thanks for the great chart. Fox News had something similar, but much less detailed, this morning, about how all presidents have slumps - examples: Nixon's approval during Watergate - 24%; LBJ's approval during Vietnam - 32%; Carter's approval (I think during all four years) - 28%; Reagan's approval during Iran-Contra - 31%; and so on. Nina Eason (I think - of the Boston Glove) compared Pres. Bush to Lincoln, who was highly criticized during the Civil War but is now regarded as one of our greatest presidents. Your chart has lots more detail. Thanks again.
MC LYNNAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're working too hard. You need to take a vacation.
Thanks for letting us know how Nancy is, great she is progressing well if you are in touch with her again please pass on my best.
Please, don't use that term in reference to Clinton. :-P
The problem with these kind of polling comparisons is that the lows for the previous Presidents you mentioned were during periods of low support for controversial policies (e.g., Vietnam), or scandals.
Naughty naughty you if do not watch you may get your toaster win voided LOL.
It was all a mirage. WE knew it, but the average American didn't.
