Wilson was the dupe in a classic pigeon drop, beltway style, no more no less.

and, when young, took "too many drugs. And, yes, I did inhale."

I think he must still be young- or he is having flashbacks!

"I've heard there will be from two indictments to two dozen, but it's all speculation" says Wilson...

Oh? And from whom have you "heard" this? It wasn't LEAKED to you by any chance was it?

I'd help you protest it but it doesn't make a lot of sense. Wilson "worried" that he'd put too fine a point on it? Now there's rabid speculation that Rove, Cheney or Libby might BE 'frog marched' out of the White House?

The REASON the public could care less and why this story reads like something from Carrol is that Wilson went around selling this entire fantasy fiction, was proved to have been lying through his teeth about yellowcakegate and his role in it several times over and his wife was non covert since the mid 1990s.

Who can take the "secret agent" schtick seriously when Val appeared on the cover "disguised" by Marilyn sunglasses and scarf? For two years we've been spoonfed Plamegate by the mass media and the public ain't buying it because every time we catch them in a lie they change the "facts" just like Joe Wilson.

I'd dearly like to see an indictment against WILSON, because I still believe he's the original "outter"

(Saddam offered all the oil the U.S. could ever want in return for his unfettered taking of Kuwait, which Wilson flatly rejected, of course.)

Oh, really? Any chance we have this rejection on tape?

Mr. Plame wouldn't've given Saddam false information would he?

"Wilson never worked for the CIA, but his wife, Valerie Plame, is an Agency operative on weapons of mass destruction. Two senior administration officials told me Wilson's wife suggested sending him to Niger to investigate. ..." Knowingly revealing the identity of a covert agent is illegal under the Intelligence Identities Protection Act, carrying a prison term of up to 10 years; lesser charges, such as obstruction, are more likely in this case.

That pretty much says it all right there. They've got nothing.

"being someone who had "too many wives" (Valerie's his third)"

Sounds like Lying may be a common practice for Mr. Wilson. The Bush administration has no one to blame for this but themselves, they failed to adequately clean house when they took office in 2000.

"He might be the man who brings down Karl Rove. Former Olympic Peninsula carpenter Joseph Wilson..."

And I might be the Queen of England! Mr. Wilson, nuthin's going to happen to Karl Rove, get over yourself!

We can only hope to see Mr. and Mrs. Flame/Plame frogmarched into Gitmo, where all the most dangerous terrorists and terrorist sympathizers are held.

Wilson had no idea he was starting this firestorm, he says, when he wrote a 2003 op-ed piece for The New York Times, headlined "What I Did Not Find in Africa," debunking Bush claims that Iraq tried to buy nuclear material in Niger.

Uh-huh...and I've got a bridge in Brooklyn for sale...

Amazing, the author goes completely off the original subject of Plame onto the alleged crimes of Delay, Fitch and all, but doesn't mention all the ethics problems and law breaking of all the DemocRATS currently being investigated.

Of course, there is no bias there, oh no, never.

Joe Wilson is not now, and never has been, a native of California...but maybe he's lying about that too now, just to keep his hand in. (According to his Who's Who entry, he was born in Connecticut. That's also where Bob Novak learned the name of Wilson's current wife, not from Rove or Libby.)
