Astros beat the Cardinals 5-1 in St. Louis tonight, to win the series 4 games to 2. Their first trip to the World Series in 9 playoff appearances.
World Series starts Saturday in Chicago.
If the White Sox win, I'll flauntingly wear this cap in front of them all......in the streets, on the beaches, in the Publix, in the mall.....and I'll even wear it to church on Sunday with my new black cleats with extra-long white laces."
Now THAT's what I love about the midwest!

Fox is still introducing themselves to the Astros. In last year's playoffs they had the WRONG batting helmet on the pre-game show set. They still had the navy one with the gold star. Freakin' amateurs.
At least they finally found a broadcast crew that didn't say Craig "Bee-gio" (it's Bidge-io) and Roy "Ozz-walt" (it's Ose-walt). Dang. One's going to the Hall of Fame and the other is the only two-time 20-game winner for 2004 and 2005 and these Yankee suckups can't even say their names right.
Bring back Curt Gowdy and NBC.

Actually, that is a pretty good prediction. The Sox do have a heck of a bullpen and enough offense to get it done.

I saw him jump straight up 5 or 6 feet to snag a line drive.....still have yet to see another human jump so high!!!
I get to go to a World Serious game....and the 'stros are in it, a baseball memory I'll never forget!
