Dick Morris is the Stephen King of the political world. He's cranking out books left and right, and most seem to be mediocore at best. He's trying he best to
sell, and he's living off a reputation from an administration that is now 6 years in the past.
He also floats with the currents--he's not rooted in any firm ideology other than monetary gain.

The absolute best thing that could ever happen to Dick Morris is for Hillary Clinton to be elected President. He'd sure sell a lot of books then. Keep that in mind when reading his "advice" to the GOP.

I could handle the "mildly pro-choice" if she were for tight border security and a real return to fiscal conservatism.

Good lord, why are so many people excited about Condi Rice? She's pro-affimitive action, pro-illegal immigration, and at least mildly pro-choice. She likes the war, and she's a black female. Is that all it takes nowadays? And I suppose Hillary is the better alternative?

Like white on Rice Brown rice is much better than white.

There is no reason to believe she will run. Yesterday, on Fox News Sunday she was quite clear that she will NOT run.

"Gore, after suffering heartbreak in 2000, morphed into Sebastian Cabot's body double and gave speeches that would have even had Nikita Khrushchev telling him to "bring it down it a little." Since then, Al's gone completely Commando Cody with a more environmentally friendly hybrid jet pack and ray gun equipped with a child safety lock to save the planet from itself. Gore has departed on a mission from which, outside of intensive shock therapy, no political return is possible." I don't care who you are, thats funny! Bwahahahah!

Rice should definitely be President.
She has brought the US outstanding success in its foreign policy.
The great _______________________ achievement would not have occurred but except for her.

And I suppose Hillary is the better alternative? So, to put your curious answer into other words: Condi is a good candidate because: Hillary reeeeeks.
To: Nasty McPhilthy
I am a supporter of Condi Rice but after her interview on Fox News Sunday yesterday I think she pretty much put a nail in the coffin when she said she would sooner be president of the NFL than POTUS.

True, Rice and Powell have only achieved some of the nation's highest offices and met with the world's most powerful people. They have yet to defiantly break the stereotypical mold like Belafonte did by singin' and dancin'.(coffee spewing out of my mouth) HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! (snort) (cough cough) HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

She likes the war, and she's a black female. Is that all it takes nowadays? Yep.
So far, I like her doing what she is doing. To vote for her as a pres candidate, I will need a lot more info. And I'll need it from her, not pundits.
Though, as has been pointed out, if she were running against the Hildabeast, what choice do we have?
I would so love to go to the polls and not have to feel I am choosing the lesser of two evils. Sigh.

"I would love to see a race like this. [Condi Rice v Hillary Clinton]" Yes, but I don't think it will happen. Dems will line up behind Hillary, in lockstep, but Republicans will make a real choice. Condi is fantastic but she has never held an executive leadership post (CEO or Governor, University President -- Provost doesn't count). Republicans will not fall in lockstep but will make a thoughtful choice, and the vote will be split. It is very likely that George Allen or Mitt Rommey will win the nomination. Condi might be the Veep nominee.
With that scenario, Hillary might win. All she needs is three percent of the electorate to turn around. The reason it didn't happen with GWB is that none of the alleged scandals were true. Allen or Romney could have one scandal, released by CBS during the last week of the campaign, to tilt the election to Hillary.
All the more important, therefore, to fill the SCOTUS with conservative judges and do tax reform before all h-ll breaks loose with a Republican Congress and liberal Democrat in the White House.

Personally, I don't think that Hillary has a chance in hell to win and has the personality of a bucket of a--holes. I hope I am right.
