Is Homosexuality proof against evolution?
Me | today | Me

Posted on 10/14/2005 5:02:31 AM PDT by MrPiper

This my bore some, and may have been discussed before, but I could not find it. I have a simple mind, sorry.

As the title suggests, would'nt homosexual's have gone the way of the do-do bird if the "theory" of evolution were true?

What would a College professor say?

(PS, I'm new at this, so please ignore mistakes.)

If you believe homosexuality is hereditary, then yes, although I wonder how many thousands of years it would take.

No. Without accepting the premise of your question, societal pressure against homosexuality means that most homosexuals to end up in a heterosexual relationship, and have children.

Also, if it is a regressive trait carried by heterosexuals, it would not be selected out so easily.

But since this pressure no longers exists, theory would predict that homosexuality, having survived for thousands of years, will now be start to disappear.

No homosexuality is proof for evolution, only one who believes that they came from a rock could be foolish enough to think that one man being sodomized by another is "gay".

Evolution, the religion that believes that man and goose are not only kin, but trace their roots back to the same acid rain socked rock.Billions and billions of years ago in a galaxy far, far away, there was nothing, absolutely nothing...

But the one I like best is the theory of the frog, Millions and millions of years ago in a swamp far, far away lived a frog and over millions and millions of years, this lucky frog, who never got ate by a snake, fish or alligator, became a prince. I like the other version better, Once upon a time their was a princess, and she kissed a frog and puff it became a prince.

In a nutshell, evolution deals with large numbers.

Homosxuality is observed in 1 to 3% of the population (NOT 10% like the Gay lobby would have you believe) and is an aberration, like pedophelia (and interestling enough, there is a correllation between the two).

There are a lot of sexual deviant desires out there. This is the first time that giving in to them is considered to be OK.

Homesexuality, pedophelia, hederasty, colorblindness, hemophelia, etc. Some non-survival traits persist, because modern society thinks it can afford them.

Some believe that in addition to our physical body, we each have a unique soul. That could be one excuse for homosexuality.

Actually, I share the view of a friend of mine that both homosexuality and abortion are forms of genocide. Those who follow the Malthusian school of thought on population and "limited" resources are eager to reduce the number of people "competing" for those resources, thus they encourage both the murder of the not-yet-born as well as deviant sex practices of all sorts as long as those practices will not result in the birth of a child.

in the 60's, they grew long wild hair (not changed alot), and lived the "love the one your with" (at that moment) to show rebellion, today some of them are becoming rumprangers , IMO

Colorblindness?
So you are linking pedophiles and homosexuals with people that have sex out of their race?

Evidence exist in the animal kingdom usually under population pressure..

Also there are more than a few species that are hermaphroditic..some species of fish
can even change from perfectly functioning males to females and back again..

There are also many examples of asexual reproduction in the lower animal kingdom...Planaria (Platyhelminthes,or flatworms) for example can go both ways...asexual and sexual though the offspring of sexual reproduction tend to learn faster...

In a sense
it could be stated that they are more 'intelligent'.

Sodomy and Lesbianism are moral choices no doubt mediated by social relationships and early childhood development.

This is why the homosexual movement is so interested in school children and moving their indoctrination into the curriculum core..

imo

I view homosexuality as a form of biological warfare.

"Is Homosexuality proof against evolution?"

No more so than schizophenia, manic depression or autism. Homosexuality is a form of mental disorder that prevents the individual from normal interactions with the opposite sex. Personally I believe it occurs due to flaws in the timing or amount of hormones expressed when in the womb. Many homosexuals were also sexually abused as children so that is another route.
Evolution is a continuing process based on selective pressure. Even if homosexuality was genetic (and the evidence is very weak), it would take a long time for it to be erased from society even if you eliminated everyone who any sign of the trait.

Ok, so the gov't schools, which are unwilling or unable to actually educate now are to have responsibility to dispense and administer insulin.

Many things about us are not necessary for preservation of the species. What does body hair do to preserve us? Some things are passed on by culture, not genetics. Examples include our perception of beauty and forms of entertainment - would you enjoy a gladiatorial fight to the death? Watching people fed to wild beasts?
