But "rough sex" isn't really "sex", is it?

Depends on what the meaning of "Secret Service" is.

Fixing that show is like putting a shine on a sneaker.

A PR attempt to garner this sickening prop piece more attention

Rod Lurie replaced as showrunner by Steve Bochco today because of what sources say was Lurie's wanting to show a 'rough sex' scene... Sure, I'll bet it doesn't have anything to do with terrible ratings. /s Sounds to me like they hate what Lurie is doing with the show and are giving him a somewhat honorable way out. A disagreement over sexual content looks better than saying he got canned due to crappy ratings and bad story lines.

a 'rough sex' scene between the (female) President's (= Hillary) daughter (= Chelsea) and a Secret Service agent in the back of a limo.
Banish the thought!

She puts some ice on it and hey, it's all good. You got it.This show will never run a scene involving "rough sex" between the President and the manager of an Arkansas nursing home.

Oh I don't know, if he brings in Dennis Franz to play a mean old secret service guy I might just watch it. Steven Bochco has done some very good stuff in the past, if he is given free reign over it and doesn't listen to the left it might actually be a decent show.

But "rough sex" isn't really "sex", is it? Well that all depends on your definition of "is".

This has been one of the highest rated shows of the new season. It has won its time slot, every week.

and if the show was about a Republican Pres... it'd be no holds barred!!!

a 'rough sex' scene between the (female) President's (= Hillary) daughter (= Chelsea) and a Secret Service agent in the back of a limo. You've gotta (I'm serious here) feel sorry for Chelsea. To be raised by two genuine, hedonistic, narcissistic psychopaths,as she was, means that she had 2.9 strikes against her before she drew her first breath.

Why do I think that's not the reason. I have a feeling it's who Rod Lurie has been recently seen with....like maybe Mandy Grunwald, Hillary's best friend and media advisor and the lady who ran Bubba's campaign.
I mentioned the other day that I wonder if the program qualified as a Dem advertising campaign which would make the money expended for the series "hidden donations". I bet the show gets cancelled real quick. It stinks.

Hey a Lesbian co-worker of mine thinks this is the greatest show to ever grace this Earth. Hey right after Mellisa Ethridge this is the second best thing to happen to her.

I caught the first episode by accident, and thought it was horrible.
So absurdly unrealistic and melodramatic. Too many portentous lines, clumsy attempts at meaningful statements, way too self-serious.
The feel of it reminds me of the 'heavy, important' scenes in one of those recent camp-disaster movies - but there it seems the tongue in cheek is presumed, and comes across a little better in movie format. This pathetic show is just trying way too hard.

I heard the ratings were bad. Guess I shouldn't believe everything I read on the threads.
