Ive been impressed with Tammy Bruce ever since I heard her story of secretly voting for Ronald Reagan. She said that when Reagan was diagnosed with Alzheimers that her answering machine was full of messeges from her friends celebrating the discovery. She said she sat down and cried...then she got angry.

And if as the kookburger feminists say, "All sex is rape" (sour grapes deluxe), why doesn't it apply to gay sex, too?

I'm quite impressed with her as well and for the same reasons. Actually, I thinks it's unfortunate that her sexual choices are public knowledge. Nobody's should be.

She shouldn't have to hide her preference but she doesn't flaunt it either. Think about it, do you really want to see Jimmy the weasel Carville and Mary Matalin lovin on each other?

I've emailed back and forth with her a couple of times, and she's extremely gracious in her replies.

Next time you watch America's Most Wanted, count the Hispanic names you see on one hand, and those not Hispanic on the other. I've been doing this for a while and it generally runs 50-60%. Seems disproportionally high to me, unless there are more sneaking across the border than I assumed. Could be a bias by the show's producers, or perhaps it is a culture that has no regard for the law.

There is one crucial flaw in her article:

Indeed, they are all illegal aliens. Only at the end of their story do we learn: “Twelve of the men are from Guatemala, one from Puerto Rico and the other from Mexico.”

Puerto Ricans have US citizenship by birth, since it's a US territory.

This is not, unfortunately, a freakish, one-of-a-kind event. Last year, Heather MacDonald, in a piece for City-Journal which also posted at Frontpagemagazine.com, addressed the astounding impact of illegal alien criminals. In "Illegal Alien Crime Wave," she notes that in Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens.
