Oh I agree with that 100%. Run a silent sting operation, pick up the bombers before the deed and hang them in the public square. No argument there.

But I disagree with Savage that this is just a manufactured threat because Bush's poll numbers are low.

While it does grab one's attention, don't stress too much. All we can do is the best we can. The best I can do is get and stay prepared, go to work everyday, take care of myself and my dog, and trust in God.

All we can do is our best so let's do it. I've be designing disaster recovery plans for a major IT corporation for over 5 years. A manager once said this is not about risk reduction, it's about risk management.

Another poster made a very good point that it may have something to do with the terror threats in NYC. Maybe they wanted to keep it hush hush so they could investigate it further. Now it will be interesting to see if the story gets wider play in the days ahead.
